Munni strolled leisurely to the front of Yisen, a gentle smile on her face.
She stopped in front of Yisen, looking down at him sitting in the armchair, a playful smile spreading at the corners of her red lips.
"Chairman Xu, are you planning to make do on this chair tonight, or that sofa?" She said, her slender fingers pointing to the long sofa on the side.
Yisen had a slight smile at the corner of his mouth and shook his head, "In bed."
Munni nodded knowingly, her unadorned face blossoming with a bright yet insincere smile.
"Oh, I see. Goodbye then." She waved to Yisen, turned around, and was about to leave.
However, just as she turned, Yisen grabbed her hand and looked up at her with gentle amusement in his dark eyes.
"Where are you going?"
Munni replied gracefully, "Since you room so much, I’ll just go to the room next door."
"You’re still sick, don’t toss and turn."
Yisen slowly stood up from the armchair, his hand still holding onto Munni’s wrist.
"It’s not like it’s the first time we’ve slept together."
Munni stared incredulously at the nonchalant Yisen, momentarily at a loss for how to comment on his shamelessness.
A few seconds later, she spoke with difficulty, "Chairman Xu."
"Haven’t you heard that sleeping in the same bed with an ex-wife will lead to some big events?"
"Really? Never heard of that." He replied as cool as a cucumber, then pretended to be curious, "What kind of big events?"
Actually, when Yisen asked, his tone seemed normally curious, but for some reason, Munni inexplicably felt that these words from his mouth were unusually ambiguous, as if nothing was right!
She blinked gently, fully aware that if she continued the topic, with Yisen’s shameless mood now, he would definitely lead the conversation astray.
So she didn’t bicker with him anymore, pulled her wrist from his grip, and said rather impatiently, "Go back to your own room, I’m very tired."
"I was just worried you’d get a fever again at night, so I wanted to stay to take care of you."
"Hmm, that’s a good reason. But, please go back to your room."
Munni had a non-negotiable look as she turned slightly, holding out a hand in an inviting gesture.
"Munni, are you really not considering letting me stay with you?"
"What if you get a fever tonight?"
"Don’t jinx me, just go."
"It’s cold tonight too, I can warm the bed for you."
After the divorce, Munni’s understanding of Yisen was continuously being refreshed.
Faced with his shameless request, Munni replied helplessly, "Stop it, go back, I’m really tired."
A faint weariness lingered between her delicate eyebrows, and her beautiful peach blossom eyes were slightly hazy with drowsiness, clearly showing she was truly tired.
Yisen also knew when to stop, "Then have a good rest."
"Hmm." Munni nodded, then waved her hand impatiently, urging him to leave quickly.
"Then I’m heading back to my room."
Yisen took small steps towards the door, muttering, "Munni, before I open the door and leave, you still have a chance to ask me to stay."
Munni ignored him, kicked off her slippers, and collapsed directly onto the bed.
"Do you want me to turn off the light for you?"
When Yisen left, he turned off the room’s light.
Munni lay lazily on the bed, thinking of how Yisen had just been fooling around with her, couldn’t help but let a slight smile appear on her face.
