Throughout the meal, the four of them kept teasing each other about the silly things they did when they were young, and the table was filled with laughter.
All the wine that Liang Jiuchen prepared was put to use, and by the end of the meal, Liang Jiuchen was already dazed, and Liang Ziyuan also seemed a bit tipsy.
Qin Muni could barely walk steadily and looked quite intoxicated, with Xu Yisen being probably the only one somewhat sober.

"Yisen, it’s you," she said foolishly.
"Yes, it’s me, come on, I’ll take you to your room."
Xu Yisen spoke in such a gentle tone that Qin Muni’s smile froze at the corner of her lips, and a seriousness fell upon her slightly tipsy eyes. "Yisen, we’re already divorced, we can’t go to the room together."
Xu Yisen carefully assisted her to the guest room, and when he heard her persistent words, he couldn’t help but chuckle softly.
He parted his thin lips, his voice light and coaxing as he spoke to the rare, childlike Qin Muni after she drank too much, "Even if a couple is divorced, they can still remarry, right?"
"Remarry?" she dutifully repeated the word, then resolutely said, "But I don’t want to remarry you, Yisen."
Even though her drunkenness made her lose her rationale, her firm attitude of not wanting to remarry him indeed left Xu Yisen feeling helpless.

Xu Yisen opened the door to the guest room, guiding Qin Muni inside as he said, "I’ll be a good husband in the future."
His confident words made Qin Muni sneer, "Liar."
He gently helped Qin Muni onto the bed. "Lie down."
Qin Muni obediently lay flat on the bed. After Xu Yisen covered her with the quilt, he sat by the bedside and looked at her with tenderness. "I’m not lying, I really want to be good to you."
"Yisen, don’t be good to me," she murmured, her eyes slightly averting. Her charming eyes seemed to have a flowing dance of light, shimmering with something like countless dazzling stars, mesmerizing and enchanting.
Xu Yisen gazed absentmindedly at her beautiful eyes, finally asking after a while, "Why not?"
A faint trace of fatigue lingered between Qin Muni’s brows. She slowly closed her eyelids, the dark eyelashes casting a fan-shaped shadow on her pale skin. She softly murmured, "Because I’m afraid that once I get used to your kindness, you’ll suddenly stop. So, Yisen, don’t be good to me, and don’t pursue me."
Xu Yisen’s fingertip gently caressed Qin Muni’s cheek, gracefully tracing the outline of her exquisite eyes.
Then his fingers gradually moved down to her small, straight nose, lightly tapping her nose tip a few times.
