Zhang Qi parted his thin lips, each word filled with playful teasing towards Qin Muni.
Hearing his voice, Qin Muni, who had been dazed for quite a while, finally snapped out of it and excitedly called out, "Senior!"
Yuan Chengmo took off the sunglasses perched on his nose and bent his brows and eyes towards the still-shocked Qin Muni, "Little junior."
While speaking, he habitually reached out and gently patted her head.
"What are you doing here?"
"I was just about to visit my mentor and his wife, they told me you had just left their house. I realized that it’s been so many years since I’ve seen my little junior, so I rushed to the station to find you. Who knew I’d be sitting beside you for so long, and you didn’t even notice me. It’s really heartbreaking, only a few years and you’ve turned into a white-eyed wolf treating me like air."
Yuan Chengmo pretended to be hurt, causing Qin Muni to chuckle speechlessly.
She also reached up to take off the sunglasses perched on her nose. Along with the curved smile, her exquisite peach blossom eyes seemed to be filled with fluttering petals, enchanting and captivating.
"Senior, don’t tease. By the way, when did you return to the country, why didn’t you inform me earlier?"
"I came back a couple of days ago, if I told you earlier, would you carry a grand sedan chair to the airport to greet me?"
"I might consider it, but you missed the chance."
Yuan Chengmo cooperatively shook his head, his expression regretful as he said, "That’s truly unfortunate."
"Hmph." Qin Muni rolled her eyes, unable to stand it.
"Senior, the other day when I went to the fish ball shop, the owner even asked about you."

The bus quickly arrived in G City. Since it had been a long time, Qin Muni insisted on welcoming Yuan Chengmo, and they chose to dine at a Japanese restaurant they often visited before.
The restaurant was located in a less conspicuous corner of the city, run by a Japanese family. Their kindness and delicious cuisine made it a place Qin Muni and Yuan Chengmo visited weekly.
Qin Muni first went with Yuan Chengmo to the coffee shop where she had an appointment with her landlord to pick up the car, then they drove directly to the restaurant.
The car drove for nearly twenty minutes before arriving at the restaurant named ’Zong’.
After parking the car, Qin Muni walked alongside Yuan Chengmo.
It was a rare sunny winter day, the golden sunlight enveloped Qin Muni, her fair cheeks glowing translucently in the light.
Yuan Chengmo glanced sideways at the gentle woman beside him, feeling slightly unaccustomed to how the once lively junior had grown increasingly intellectual and graceful over the years.
"How have these years been for you?"

The sunlight danced in her gentle peach blossom eyes, creating ripples like water; her lips curled in a smile, like lotus flowers blooming in a pond—pure yet radiant.
