Ironically, after the divorce, Xu Yisen actually took the initiative to invite her to Purple Clouds Mountain for Christmas.
"I’ll think about it." Munni Qin replied with the exact words Yisen had once used in response to her.
Munni Qin found her car in the parking lot. She opened the door, and before getting in, she flashed Xu Yisen a charming smile, "Thank you for putting so much effort into finding a designer for me."
Xu Yisen nodded and took two steps closer, reducing the distance between him and Munni Qin.
Munni Qin blinked slowly and stared at Xu Yisen, who was now very close, instinctively wanting to step back, but her car was right behind her.
As she was about to bend down and get into the car to avoid Xu Yisen’s sudden approach, she heard his gentle voice in her ear: "Since you’re so grateful, how about treating me to a meal?"
Munni Qin thought she must have been hearing things.
Such a noble and aloof man as Xu Yisen, how could he shamelessly suggest she treat him to dinner?
Her skeptical expression made Xu Yisen’s lips curve into a gentle, radiant arc that he couldn’t suppress.
He repeated again, "Treat me to a meal, as a way of thanking me."
"Are you... joking with me?"
It wasn’t that she was unwilling to treat him; it was just that she felt this request was too uncharacteristic of Xu Yisen!
Xu Yisen shook his head, "No."
Finally, he feigned discontent and complained, "This isn’t the right attitude for thanking someone. Do you really need to hesitate so long just to treat me to a meal? At worst, I’ll treat you."
Munni Qin was amused by his tone and complaints, and she reluctantly agreed, "Fine, I get it. You can choose the time and place, just send me a message to let me know."

Xu Yisen detected the ridicule in Munni Qin’s words about his shamelessness, and his smile deepened slightly, "Mm, so go change your clothes."
Seeing that Xu Yisen didn’t show any displeasure and instead smiled warmly in response to her taunt, Munni Qin felt inexplicably odd.
She pursed her lips, turned around, and walked toward the living room while saying, "Okay, I got it. Wait for me in the living room."
Xu Yisen followed Munni Qin into the house. Bruce was lazily curled up on the sofa, waiting for Munni Qin.
