Munni lightly smiled, a layer of icy frost spreading across her features, with obvious sarcasm glimmering in her gaze toward Xu Yisen.
A husband’s infidelity is a betrayal of a wife, and even more, a lack of respect for her.
It’s truly hard to believe that the man who once betrayed and disrespected her would bring her to the very place where he celebrated his lover’s birthday to dine.
Her words left Xu Yisen somewhat taken aback, as he raised his eyebrows slightly.
"No need to look at me like that. I didn’t have anyone monitoring or following your movements. It’s just that there are always some bored people who like to send me anonymous messages telling me about your daily dates with Xia Yuge."
Once, she had hated those who sent her those messages, yet at the same time had a morbid desire for them to continue, as back then, she was intensely curious about how Xu Yisen would act around someone he liked.
Over time, as the messages and pictures accumulated, Munni realized that Xu Yisen wasn’t an unyielding iceberg after all; it was just that she wasn’t the one who could melt him.
Suppressing his surprise, Xu Yisen patiently explained to Munni, "At that time, a group of us were all together celebrating her birthday; it wasn’t just me and her."

Her words continued to sarcastically jab at his ambiguous relationship with Xia Yuge.

The soft, melodious music filled the room, covering the earlier awkward atmosphere between them.
Xu Yisen slightly curved his thin lips as he naturally opened a conversation with Munni, "Have you started recruiting staff for the restaurant?"
"Yes, once the design plans are out, I’ll need Secretary Tang to handle the licensing tasks. As for the staff, I’ll personally select them."
The earlier tension between them dissipated, replaced by a growing warmth and mutual enjoyment throughout the meal.
After dinner, Xu Yisen’s original plan was to stay in the private room with Munni to countdown to the New Year.
However, Munni shook her head, her brows unfurling into an unruly smile, "Counting down with just the two of us is boring. Come on, I’ll take you somewhere fun."
With those words, she blinked lightly, and in an instant, a captivating shimmer danced in her alluring eyes.
Although Xu Yisen knew her words were laden with mischief, he still couldn’t help but nod, following her out of the private room.
Munni drove Xu Yisen’s car, maneuvering skillfully towards a club located about ten minutes from the Fan Shuo Hotel.
