Before she could stand up, Xu Yisen placed his hands on Munni’s shoulders, bending slightly to maintain their eye level, his gaze earnestly meeting hers.
"Stay here tonight." His words carried a compelling authority.
Munni stared blankly at him for a moment, then averted her gaze, hoarsely retorting, "Yisen, you no longer have the right to control me; we are already divorced."
Xu Yisen was not displeased by her biting attitude, his expression was filled with intense concern, "I don’t feel at ease with you alone at home."
