Madeline was still at the point of controlling her breathing when he asked her that. She wanted to refuse since it sounded embarrassing for someone, most especially Cassian to see her intimate area, but with the looks he gave her, Madeline involuntarily found herself nodding in agreement, more like her body was acting against its own wishes and not hers.
With a sudden movement, Cassian pushed Madeline down onto the bed, following her down, his body a hot, heavy weight on top of hers. His eyes bore into hers, intense and filled with desire as he lowered his head to capture her lips once more, nibbling on her bottom lips before pulling back to look into her eyes.
"Just relax." He instructed before moving back to part her legs, an action she found embarrassing to the brim, yet arousing at the same time. A devilish smile graced his lips upon staring at her reaction as she was a blushy mess on the bed, her hair scattered against the pillow and he could feel his heart go rampant with long yearnings.
"You have no idea how long I’ve waited to have you spread your legs for me like this." His Amber-brown eyes made her feel like a helpless prey that got cornered by a larger predator.

"What are you doing? Hmmn? I told you there was no backing out." He parted her legs once more, making the woman on his bed stare, obviously dazed by how strikingly handsome he looked when he commanded such authority from her.

Madeline’s blurry eyes widened after hearing it, and he went further to say. "I want you, Maddie, I’ve never wanted someone so much to the point I let myself sound desperate about it. You’re the only woman I want and ever wanted, let’s consummate our marriage tonight, let me make you mine, forever."
Hearing those words, a moment of silence filled the room as they looked deeply into each other’s eyes. Cassian swallowed, silently hoping he wouldn’t get rejected once again, and like an answer to his silent prayers, her lips parted.
"Okay." She whispered.
