Chu Ge cleared his throat slightly, feeling a bit embarrassed. There was a faint smile on his face, one that seemed to radiate genuinely from the heart, impossible to conceal.
Mu Bingtong glanced at him and said in a deep voice, “What has Chu Ge mentioned about me in front of all of you?”
Lin Dong chuckled, “Of course, he praised how beautiful his sister-in-law is.”
Mu Bingtong smiled, her face lightly made up, not as heavily done as Nangong Man Sha’s. Her beauty reminded one of a blue lotus on the Snow Mountain, exuding an air of coolness and nobility.
“You, stop speaking well of Chu Ge for him. He wouldn’t talk about me like that to you guys. Don’t I know him well enough?”
Mu Bingtong glared at Chu Ge accusingly, her spontaneous actions and expressions deeply displaying the profoundness of her relationship with him.
Nangong Man Sha saw this and felt uncomfortable inside, yet she could only keep these feelings hidden as she was merely Chu Ge’s fiancée, the official girlfriend.
“Miss Mu has just arrived in the Capital City and must be tired. Mr. Chu, why don’t you take Miss Mu to rest?”
Nangong Man Sha suggested.
Chu Ge suddenly realized, and he quickly handled Mu Bingtong’s luggage, saying to her, “I completely forgot about it. Let’s go, I’ll take you to rest first, and we all can have lunch together later.”
Mu Bingtong was not tired, but she had been a bit startled by the chaos earlier. She nodded slightly, apologizing to Nangong Man Sha and Lin Dong, “Then I will go rest first, and we will meet up for lunch.”

Mu Bingtong smiled, “I heard that Miss Man Sha treats you differently from others.”
At this, Chu Ge laughed, “Of course, differently. I am her grandfather’s lifesaver, and hers too. How could the treatment be the same?”
Hearing this, Mu Bingtong realized that Chu Ge really didn’t take Nangong Man Sha’s feelings seriously at all. Mu Bingtong didn’t know why, but she suddenly felt a bit sympathetic towards Nangong Man Sha.
She said somewhat exasperatedly to Chu Ge, “Do you really not realize that she has those feelings for you?”
Chu Ge was puzzled, “What feelings??”

Chu Ge pondered for a moment. Beautiful, definitely; virtuous, well… it wasn’t untrue.
“That’s settled then.”
Chu Ge didn’t notice anything amiss about Liu Yue’s mood. After chatting with her for a bit about accounting matters, he headed to the basement level.
The basement level was the main hall of the Gambling Stone Field, bustling and lively.
In the center of the hall stood the largest table, decorated with various types of stones.
