"Mr. Long-Williams, welcome to Divine Land!" Chu Qingxue was not at all restrained, appearing very natural and graceful.
"An old friend’s reunion naturally calls for a cheek-to-cheek kiss!" Long-Williams, with his normally proud face, finally wore a smile, making his already handsome features more charming than many international superstars.
"Yes! We are old friends!" Chu Qingxue nodded with a smile.
A group of people were confused. Wasn’t Long-Williams invited by the Jiang Family? How did he become connected with Chu Qingxue, calling each other old friends so obviously, showing their relationship was not shallow?

Then Long-Williams asked Chu Qingxue again, "Miss Chu, am I right? This is an act of jealousy, isn’t it?"
Chu Qingxue actually nodded her head, "Yes, you’re right, your talent for learning the Divine Land language is truly amazing!"
"Foreign devil, who the hell is jealous? You’d better clarify yourself, or I’ll cripple you!" Ye Chenfeng, enraged, grabbed Long-Williams by the collar.
"What are you doing, Ye Chenfeng?" Chu Qingxue asked angrily.
"Let go of your hand!"
Ivan Jaylin, with her wheat-colored skin, swung her long leg and unleashed a whip kick that brought with it streaks of afterimages, striking without warning.
Ye Chenfeng hastily dodged but still got struck on the arm by Ivan Jaylin, with a crisp snap, an overwhelming pain washed over him.
"Ye Chenfeng, how dare you disrespect Mr. Long-Williams, Chen Xijun! Take Ye Chenfeng out!" Su Hang then stepped forward.
Chen Xijun, with a smug look, approached Ye Chenfeng, "Let’s go, Ye Chenfeng?"
The security tonight was her responsibility; she had been hiding in the crowd, and she wouldn’t have appeared if it wasn’t for Su Hang’s command.
"Alright, alright, you all enjoy your party, I’m off, bye, I’ll come back for you later, wife!"
And with that, Ye Chenfeng followed Chen Xijun out of the Sky Pavilion.
"Ye Chenfeng, you’re really something, daring to offend such a person!" Outside, Chen Xijun couldn’t help but exclaim.
"Who, that foreign devil? I reckon he’s not even half as handsome as me!" Ye Chenfeng said.
"What? Not half as handsome as you? Ye Chenfeng, do you even know who he is?..." Chen Xijun went on to explain about Long-Williams’s identity.
Ye Chenfeng looked incredulous, "The Golden Family? That powerful? Can I now cling to a tycoon’s thick legs?"
Chen Xijun rolled her eyes speechlessly, "You, do you know that when Mayor Su asked me to bring you out, he was actually protecting you! Offending such a figure, you dying ten times over wouldn’t be enough!"
"Tsk, what a pity that table full of good dishes!" Ye Chenfeng sighed repeatedly.
"Let’s go, I’ll treat you to a meal!" said Chen Xijun.
"What’re we eating?" Ye Chenfeng’s eyes lit up,
Chen Xijun smiled, "As far as I know, there’s a good mutton spine hotpot place nearby!"
Walking shoulder to shoulder, Chen Xijun couldn’t help but ask, "Ye Chenfeng, Chu Qingxue has been through such an ordeal, how can you not show any reaction?"
"What can I possibly do? I’m not rich!" Ye Chenfeng said, exasperated.
A hint of an inexplicable smile appeared on Chen Xijun’s lips, "Is that right? Even Mayor Su is protecting you , your background must be quite something, Ye Chenfeng!"
"Captain Chen, I’ve come to the conclusion that you really have fallen for me, always keeping me in your thoughts!" Ye Chenfeng joked.
"Can you be serious for once?" Chen Xijun snapped.
"Next, if you don’t want to die, hold on tight to me!" Ye Chenfeng’s gaze sharpened, turning into two needle-like points.
Chen Xijun was stunned, "Why?"
The answer was a bullet whistling towards them at high speed!
As the bullet tore through the air, she only felt herself being suddenly gripped and lifted, darting more than ten meters away. The bullet left a small crater in the ground where they’d just been, indicating its potent force.
But the speed of the bullet shots was not one bit slower than Ye Chenfeng’s speed; even as he rolled with her in his arms, the bullets arrived on time.
Only when Chen Xijun saw the bullet heads on the ground did she realize these were distinctive bullets from the large-caliber sniper rifle, Barrett.
In an instant, the hair on her body stood on end.
