Ye Chenfeng easily blended into the party, and without any hesitation, quickly filled his stomach.
Only then did he shift his attention to other matters and realized that the party was hosted by the Ryukawa Family, seemingly celebrating the completion of a massive funding project.
However, it was at this moment that Ye Chenfeng spotted a woman.
Now, Bai Jie had shed her usual uniform of leather pants and a shirt, opting instead for a black evening gown with a hem so long it swept the floor.
Many socialites and tycoons surrounded Bai Jie, making it apparent that she was the person of interest.
Could it be that Bai Jie was representing the power behind her and had reached an agreement with the Truth Sect? Why was Ouyang Qingcheng not present?
With questions in mind, Ye Chenfeng, dressed in a sharp suit, slowly walked over with a glass of wine in hand.
"May I offer a drink to the beautiful lady?"
Ye Chenfeng raised his glass to Bai Jie, completely ignoring the looks from others.
The others felt that Ye Chenfeng looked somewhat familiar, but his sudden intrusion also made him seem very unfamiliar, as if they had never seen him before, let alone associate him with a wanted man plastered all over the streets.

Bai Jie recognized Ye Chenfeng instantly.
"Miss, please follow me!"
Ye Chenfeng took a sip of his wine and walked towards a less crowded area.
Bai Jie hesitated for a moment but still followed.
"Why are you still in Tokyo?" When they reached a spot with fewer people, Bai Jie asked.
Ye Chenfeng examined Bai Jie and smiled, "What, can I not take a few more glances at you?"
Ye Chenfeng continued, "But honestly, you don’t look half bad dressed ."
"Be serious, how have you not left yet? I know they’re hunting for you all over the streets, and yet you still have the mood to attend a party," said Bai Jie, her voice laced with deep concern.
Ye Chenfeng got serious, "I’m leaving tonight."
"That’s good. You should hurry and leave this place," Bai Jie nodded.
Just then, suddenly, a voice came from over there.
"Let’s go over there first."
Bai Jie and Ye Chenfeng walked over, keeping a slight distance between them.
"Miss Bai Jie, be careful, let me introduce you to the chairman of Jintian Corporation, Hojo Hideki. They are coming over," said someone from the Ryukawa Family.
Hojo Hideki was someone Ye Chenfeng wasn’t familiar with, but it was Izumi Taigan that he did see.
Izumi Taigan seemed to have spotted Ye Chenfeng and rubbed his eyes, looking over this way.
"What’s the matter?" Hojo Hideki noticed Izumi Taigan’s peculiar behavior and couldn’t help but ask.
"Lord Hojo, I think I just saw Ye Chenfeng," said Izumi Taigan.
Hojo Hideki’s heart sank abruptly, and he spoke calmly, "Let’s not panic. Notify the Nogawa and the others to surround this area immediately, and we shall verify if it’s Ye Chenfeng first."
However, upon taking a closer look, Izumi Taigan realized that the person who had been standing there had disappeared.
"He must be hiding nearby, find him for me, and don’t act rashly," Izumi Taigan instructed.
His subordinates promptly dispersed and eventually moved toward the area centered around Bai Jie, appearing to partake in the party while in fact they were searching for someone.
Ye Chenfeng, of course, wouldn’t just slip away under their watch. He didn’t know how to turn invisible, nor could he fly, so he certainly couldn’t vanish instantly.
Ye Chenfeng was actually hiding under the table next to Bai Jie, effectively shielded from view by her.
"This is Mr. Hojo Hideki, chairman of Jintian Corporation, and this is..."
Somebody from the Ryukawa Family began the introductions for Hojo Hideki and Bai Jie.
"What’s the matter with Miss Bai?" someone noticed Bai Jie’s unusual demeanor and asked.
Bai Jie quickly shook her head, "I’m fine, just a bit tipsy from a few drinks."
"Ha ha, Miss Bai’s tolerance for alcohol... Hehe, it’s just two glasses of red wine after all."
"I can’t hold my liquor!"
Bai Jie had to pretend to steady her head.
Izumi Taigan and his men were frantically searching, but Ye Chenfeng seemed to have disappeared into thin air, leaving no trace.
"It must be Ye Chenfeng! He’s definitely still here, it’s impossible for someone to escape so suddenly!"
Izumi Taigan, being a clever man, was certain that Ye Chenfeng hadn’t left but was hiding somewhere.
"Mr. Hojo, shall we continue?" said someone from the Ryukawa Family.
