Soon, the two of them arrived at Lin Jiage’s residence.
After the car came to a stop, Shi Yao alighted from the car and jogged over to Lin Jiage’s side. She opened the car door for him, and after Lin Jiage got out of the car, Shi Yao ran to the back of the car and opened the trunk, she took down the two large bags that Lin Jiage had bought from the supermarket.
The weight of one bag wasn’t too bad, but when the two bags were put together, they seemed a little heavy.
When Shi Yao handed the bags over to Lin Jiage, she subconsciously asked, “Can you carry them all up by yourself?”
Lin jiage nodded calmly before stretching out his left hand to take the two bags from Shi Yao’s fingertips. After the weight of the two bags fell into his hands.., lin jiage intentionally tilted his body to the left, pretending to be pulled by the weight of the bags. After which, he calmly stood up straight, as if nothing had happened, with a calm tone, he said to Shi Yao, “Then drive slowly on your way back.”
Noticing Lin Jiage’s slight reaction just now, Shi Yao stared at the two bags in his hands for a moment before asking doubtfully, “Can you really carry them up?”
“Of course I can…”Lin Jiage replied with a relaxed tone.
“Oh…”Shi Yao continued staring at the two bags in Lin Jiage’s left hand for a moment. Seeing that he didn’t seem to be struggling anymore, she finally relaxed and raised her head, with a smile on her face, she turned to Lin Jiage and said,”… I’ll be taking my leave then. Take care of yourself. If you feel unwell tonight, feel free to call me anytime…”
Lin jiage replied with a nonchalant “Un”before turning to Shi Yao and saying, “Goodbye.”

After saying goodbye, Shi Yao turned around and got into the car.
While she was fastening her seatbelt, she glanced at Lin Jiage through the car window. Seeing that he was carrying a bag, she quickly backed away from him.

As the car slowly drove forward for a short distance, Shi Yao saw through the rear-view mirror that Lin Jiage was carrying two large bags as he turned around and headed into the building. Seeing this sight, Shi Yao stepped on the brakes without hesitation and drove the car back to Lin Jiage’s side.
She looked around and saw an empty parking lot nearby, so she drove the car into the garage. After which, she pushed open the car door and hurriedly got out of the car. She ran over to Lin Jiage’s side and squatted down, she picked up the things that he had dropped one by one and put them back into the bag. After which, she took a bag from his hands and said, “That… There’s a little too many things. I’ll send you home…”
Lin Jiage had been putting in a lot of effort just now, but when he saw that his plan had succeeded, he didn’t show the slightest hint of joy on his face. Instead, he looked at Shi Yao apologetically and said, “I’ve really troubled you.”
