Lin jiage collected his thoughts and nodded at the attendant before taking the lead to step into the room.
Shi Yao followed closely behind.
As it was a suite, there were two bathrooms, so Lin Jiage and Shi Yao each had one.
The attendant was waiting for Lin Jiage to take his clothes and send them to the concierge department to wash them.
Lin jiage only had a slight grease stain on his T-shirt, so he entered the living room’s bathroom. After taking off his shirt, he opened the door slightly and tossed his clothes out. After which, he locked the door and headed to the bathroom.
Compared to Lin Jiage, the dirt on Shi Yao’s body was much more troublesome. Her sleeves, skirt, and hair were all smeared with crab beancurd.
Thus, she ran into the bedroom and took off all of her clothes. After which, she wrapped herself in a bathrobe and delivered the clothes to the attendant.
The attendant had already tidied up the clothes that Lin Jiage had casually tossed on the floor. After receiving Shi Yao’s clothes, she passed the room card to Shi Yao, she said softly, “Please wait for a moment, sir. I’ll bring the clothes up in about an hour.”
Shi Yao nodded with a smile. After the attendant left, she returned to the bathroom in her bedroom to wash her hair and take a shower.
Shi Yao’s hair was long, and it was already troublesome to wash it. Now that it was covered in grease, she had to toss and turn in the bathroom for quite some time before she could clean herself up.
She stood in front of the sink, drying her hair. Perhaps it was because she hadn’t had enough sleep during the day or because she was tutoring her students at night, but her head felt a little dizzy, and her body felt a little warm.
She thought that the temperature of the water was too high while she was showering, so she turned the hot air in the hair dryer into a cold one. After blowing on her hair for a while, she realized that the temperature of her body didn’t decrease at all, on the contrary, it even rose a lot.
After blowing her hair, Shi Yao put down the hairdryer. Through the mirror in front of her, she saw that her face was blushing terribly. She reached out to Pat her face, and upon realizing that it was burning terribly, she turned on the tap and grabbed some cold water, after washing her face twice, she regained some consciousness before drying her hair and walking out of the bathroom.
In just a few short steps, Shi Yao realized that her face was starting to burn up again, and her entire body was starting to burn up as well. It didn’t take long before she started to feel extremely thirsty. Following which, she started to walk around in a daze, walking out of the bedroom.
Lin Jiage had already finished showering. Sitting on the sofa, he stared at the night view through the floor-to-ceiling window, seemingly deep in thought.
The bathrobe he was wearing was tightly wrapped, and not a single inch of his skin was exposed.
But Shi Yao didn’t know what was wrong with her either. After staring at Lin Jiage for a few seconds, her mouth started to dry up even more.
She hurriedly retracted her gaze and walked over to the bar counter.
She realized that her footsteps were getting weaker and weaker.
On the other hand, not too far away, Lin Jiage’s body was like a magnet, attracting her to approach him.
She tried her best to restrain herself, but she realized that her body temperature had increased. subconsciously, she tugged at the collar of the towel, and her gaze fell on Lin Jiage once more.
She stared at him for a moment before she began walking over to him uncontrollably.
When she was in front of him, he noticed her. Then, he looked out of the window and saw her face.
“Yao…”he only said one word when her body suddenly went soft and she fell into his arms.
