Qin Jing was the first one to react. “What the hell is wrong with you? Are you really that arrogant that you want Yao Tangto kowtow to you?” She sneered in disgust. “Who do you think you are?”
“Why? Don’t you think it’s equal?” Li Ruo appeared displeased. “Just now, that girl slapped her while you hit the back of her hand. Is that how you rufians treat your guests?”
“Please, you think we like dirtying our hands with the likes of you?”
“Then what do you want?” Yan Wei snapped.
Qin Jing glanced hesitantly over at her friend as if she were asking for her permission. “The conditions she set, you shouldn’t be asked to kowtow to someone like her. Do you really want to agree to something like this?”
“I’ll be fine.”
If Sister Tang said it was okay, then it was fine.
However, she still had more to say about this arrangement. “Then this agreement is too easy for her, don’t you think? Should we add some conditions on her end as well?”
Yao Tang shifted on her stool. “You decide for me.”
A wide grin stretched along her face.
“Alright! I’ll decide.”
Something occurred in her mind and she glanced back at Yan Wei. “If you lose, then you have to shout that you’re an illegitimate daughter a hundred times at the front of the school cafeteria. What do you say to that?”
Yan Wei clenched her fists, but she didn’t say a word. “Fine. These materials you’ve found—they all better be from International Middle School. There must also be a truckload of them, just as what your friend said.”
Qin Jing shrugged. “No problem.”
“So, Yao Tang, when can you get this truckload? Would you want us to wait for a month?”
Yao Tang didn’t look bothered as she glanced at her phone screen, her fingers running against her keyboard. She pursed her lips.
“Give me forty-five minutes.”
That was the response she had gotten from the librarian.

However, just when the class was about to end, forty-five minutes later, Yan Wei rolled her eyes and called out, “Yao Tang, it’s almost time. Aren’t you going to show us this truckload of results?”
Even the teacher glanced at them, confused.
Yao Tang glanced at the screen, but there was no reply.
Suddenly, a message was sent over.

Seeing that she still hadn’t said a word, Yan Wei grinned. “What? You can’t show me the results?”

However, Yan Wei didn’t appear emabrrassed at all. “Teacher, if you don’t know anything, then you shouldn’t point any fingers, should you?” She shrugged.
“The only thing you know is how to protect your own students.”
