Yan Wei was already in a bad mood. However, when she heard Li Ruo’s words, she couldn’t help but scowl. Annoyed and angry, she quickly waved the woman away, not really sure what to say.
Surprised, Li Ruo was shoved to the other side. A trace of disbelief flashed across her face.

However, when Yan Wei realized what she had done, her face softened entirely. She quickly raised her hands in innocence as she turned to look at her friend. “I’m sorry,” she murmured. “I didn’t see you. I didn’t mean…”
Li Ruo felt a little uncomfortable from the incident. However, she didn’t care too much about it.
She was far too concentrated on the truck below them. Suddenly, her eyes widened. “Weiwei, look!” she said quickly, pointing at the trucks. “There are more trucks coming!”
“What?” Yan Wei’s face changed immediately.
She followed the direction of her stare and gasped.
At that moment, she saw another truck coming from the corner, heading in the direction of the teacher’s building. Before it could go any farther, the truck finally stopped right below them.
Before she could say anything else, another truck appeared and did the same thing.
By the time she had turned around, a total of four trucks drove from the school gate, and they were all parked in front of their building. They froze. How could this be? This can’t…
All of these trucks looked the same. Not only do they look alike, but they all seemed to have the same logo on the front too. She clenched her fists even tighter.
It was obvious that they were here for one mission only—to deliver the review materials from International Middle School. But…was that really their mission?
A thought appeared in the back of her mind, and. Yan Weisneered.
“Please, Yao Tang, you have to be joking, right? You really want me to believe that all these trucks drove all this way to transport your review materials? This isn’t possible.” She rolled her eyes.
This must be a coincidence.
All these trucks looked alike. Perhaps they were simply there for another purpose, and not to deliver the review materials that they were asking for.
How could Yao Tang be that influential that she’d actually order a truck company to transport these goods? Besides, Yan Weistill couldn’t believe that she’d have the power to have these types of materials.
She couldn’t have called them over.
That’s right. It must simply be a stroke of luck. Yao Tang must’ve predicted that there would be trucks driving through the entrance, and she timed it to the bet they made. It would be a perfect opportunity to prove her wrong, wouldn’t it?
Yao Tang frowned.
Before the trucks had entered the campus, she already received a message that they’d be coming soon. It’s why she expected that it would take a short while for them to be delivered.
What she didn’t expect was to see five trucks barreling through the entrance.
Why were there five of them?
Yao Tang thought for a while and felt that something was off. She didn’t say anything upon hearing Yan Wei’s words and instead glanced in her direction. Her face showed no emotions, as usual.
However, when she glanced over at the window once again, she saw a tall man get out of the car.
It was Cheng Yan.
Her eyes widened by a fraction, and she gripped her pen even tighter.
Seeing that she was distracted, Yan Wei followed her gaze.
Only when she saw a man get out of the car did she feel even more determined. She scoffed, crossing her arms over her chest. “Are you still going to sit there and stall for some more time?” she demanded.
“If that’s what you believe…” Yao Tang took a deep breath, standing up and heading toward the staircase. “Should we both take a look?”
Yan Wei froze.

Take a look?
She was already caught in the act, and Yao Tang was still trying to bluff her way through all of this. Yan Weistruggled to keep herself together, resisting the urge to roll her eyes.
Fine, if that’s what she wanted! Then she shouldn’t blame her for humiliating her like this!
However, those who heard Yao Tang’s words immediately jumped in excitement. They flung themselves down the stairs, looking as if they had won a big prize.
Yan Wei couldn’t help but eye them incredulously.
The woman just lied and they all still believed her unconditionally. How could they all be this brainless?
Fine, she’d humiliate them all!
“If you say so.” Yan Wei shoved her hands into her pockets as a cold smile threaded across her lips.
The teacher also gazed at the trucks in surprise. He blinked in surprise and couldn’t help but sigh in his heart.
After thinking for a while, he followed the crowd down the steps. He might as well find out what this ruckus was about.
