Yao Tang tilted her head. “Where will you be able to deliver the goods?”
Yang Nian returned to his senses. “You are more familiar with the places here, so I’m leaving that decision up to you.”
When he heard her cool words, he couldn’t help but feel a bit strange.
However, he simply shook the feeling away. It was probably just his nerves playing tricks on him. He glanced over at Lin Xin who looked like she was about to speak.
“Since these items wouldn’t be able to go through the school, why don’t we just meet at a restaurant nearby?”
Lin Xin suggested.
While her voice appeared calm, her eyes revealed so much worry for her friend. Could they really win this bet?
Now that the matter was already settled, there was no other way for her to go back on her word. Her heart skipped a beat.
