The person on the other end of the phone naturally understood what Yang Jiang wanted to say.
He must’ve mentioned this matter to use it as an excuse to get rid of the Lin Family. This was a truly complicated matter, but he wasn’t surprised to see how this was executed.
He was the Head of the Yang Family, after all.
“Don’t worry, I’ll follow up on your request and communicate it with them first,” the man said. “If it doesn’t work, then we can take action. Have you already arrived in City A?”
“You don’t need to know that,” he responded. “Just help me out with this. You and Yang Nian would have full authority over this matter. Update me if anything happens.”
As soon as he thought of Yang Nian, the older man brought his gaze back to his screen.
It seemed that the two people he had found entering the guest room still hasn’t come out yet. No one could tell what they were doing there.
His face darkened. “Yang Nian isn’t as experienced as you are, so you should take him under your wing,” he added. “He’s in City Anow, so you can give him a call.”
The person at the other end blinked in surprise.
Back then, Yang Jiang would usually let the young master handle these things all on his own.

It wasn’t that this person didn’t want to handle this matter. He just wanted to use this as an opportunity to praise Yang Nian and even gather more information as to what had happened. Typical.
“Yang Nian has been busy with his homework recently, and I don’t think he has enough experience in handling this complicated matter. You should preside over it. There’s no need to add to this matter any longer.”
“Of course, Sir.”
Yang Jiang quickly reiterated the other instructions he had before hanging up the phone.

No sound echoed from the study.
Uneasiness bloomed in his chest, but he still kept his cool. “I’m going to count to three. If you don’t come out now, I’ll call for help.”
He then heard a snicker from the other end of the room.
Who was this?
It sounded as if the person didn’t mind his threat at all.
Yang Jiang felt a chill run down his spine.
How did this person enter his room?
Where was he hiding?
No matter where Yang Jiang looked, he didn’t know where this voice had come from. He didn’t even know how the person had gotten in, in the first place!
Yang Jiang pressed on his watch three times, slowly relaxing.
“If you’re going to keep hiding in the dark like a rat, suit yourself!”
Yao Tang rolled her eyes. “The shamelessness of the head of the Yang Family surely surprised me,” she drawled.
