These words made the President beam at him.
“You really are quite thoughtful. I actually came here today to ensure the entire city that we’d be able to achieve a great result.”
With this, the President turned directly to Yao Tang. “Your student could be an outstanding contestant who’d bring honor to us all. At first, I was afraid that Principal Kong would be reluctant in sharing her talents, but it turns out you really do care about the outcome.”
He chuckled. “Thank you for that.”
Hearing his words, Principal Kong gritted his teeth.
That man really was shameless!
Principal Kong turned his gaze to Yao Tang and took a deep breath. “I naturally don’t interfere in the lives of my students, but shouldn’t you also ask the students involved in this matter?”
With this, he slowly shook his head. “If the students truly don’t want to join, then there’s really nothing I could do.”
The President resisted the urge to scoff.
It was obvious that Yao Tang’s denial had something to do with this old man! And here he was putting on a show.
He really had some nerve!
The two of them spoke back and forth, and they seemed to be challenging the other to turn to the student.
In the end, they finally relented as they turned to Yao Tang. “Yao Tang, what do you think of his offer?” Principal Kong finally spoke up.
“If you want to participate, I won’t stop you. Just don’t work yourself out, okay? You should also get some rest.”

“President, what you’re saying isn’t right. If you want to relax, there are so many other things to do so, why do you have to do something so strenuous?”
He turned to her. “If you want to play, we have a court in our gym. You don’t have to travel around from one place to the other.”
“I—”
“You have it all wrong, Principal.”
“But—” Yao Tang was about to say when the President turned to her.
“Although you might have to leave this school, I can guarantee you that you’ll still be able to grow both professionally and personally. You’ll also be able to see lots of great sceneries,” he said. “Won’t this be more relaxing than sitting in class?”
The students of Class 20 all leaned in the doorway, desperately trying to hold back their laughter.
They wanted to watch what was going on, but they couldn’t let the Principal find out. They could only pretend that nothing happened.
Principal Kong scowled.
If it weren’t for the lack of security, they wouldn’t have let this shameless man enter the campus.
After today, they had to make sure that everyone was on high alert.
Maybe then they’d be able to prevent this from happening.
