As such, nobody really knew what he and Xiao Feng actually looked like. Outsiders could only guess his identity, as no one would dare leak out their information or even their physical characteristics.

That was why Yu Chen couldn’t help but be curious. How did this girl know that he wasn’t Xiao Feng? Could it be that they were too different?
Or had she met Xiao Feng before?
Yu Chen furrowed his eyebrows, glancing up at her.
However, Yao Tang didn’t give him a satisfactory answer. Instead, she shrugged and turned. “I just guessed.”
Ha! His eyes flashed bitterly.
He knew for a fact that Yao Tang wasn’t just guessing. However, now that he was in her hands, he could only nod and listen.

Before he knew anything, a cold object was clasped around his wrist.
What was this?
His scalp immediately went numb. However, just as he was about to look back and see what was going on, the blade on his neck inched even closer. He resisted the urge to wince.
“These are specially made handcuffs. You won’t be able to untie them no matter how much you try.”
Yao Tang’s voice was as calm as snow. “Why don’t we work together then? Not only will you be able to keep your life, but you’ll even have your fair share of benefits. What do you think?”
What did she mean?
Did he really have a choice?
Yu Chen’s heart thumped in shock and curiosity. He didn’t know what exactly this woman needed from him.
In terms of array formations, she had already surpassed him.
If it was about any other aspect, he couldn’t think of anything he could help her with.
Yu Chen glanced over at Yao Tang, unsure of what to do.
Suddenly, she said,
“I don’t like to reveal too much information about myself, so I’m very conflicted as to how I’ll deal with you. Do you understand what I mean?”
Yu Chen blinked in surprise.
His body trembled.
So if he didn’t cooperate, he’d die?
“Okay, okay, I’ll help!”
At this point, he was already at wit’s end. He needed to strive hard if he wanted to survive. Maybe then, this woman would release him. Otherwise, she might really keep to her end of the deal.
He had no other choice.
There was only one way to go about this.
“Alright, tell me what you want to do. Don’t you have to remove the handcuffs around my wrist first?” he protested. “How else am I supposed to work?”
Unfortunately, his protests were ineffective. Yao Tang didn’t need him to do anything at all. She just needed him to stand by her side.
“No need. Just follow me.”
Yao Tang walked deeper into the forests, and he followed. Soon enough, they found a mining spot by the end of the mountains. She took out the detector in her backpack and began to search.
There were so many smugglers who were out for the meteorite.
However, as they couldn’t acquire the meteorite realistically, their secondary target was the rare minerals they’d find in the mining shaft.
The last time she had gone there, she was able to find tons of rare minerals.
She had actually found them by chance, and now, she’d be entering the mines again.
Now that she already knew where the rare minerals were, it would be a shame if they didn’t dig them out.
“Go!” She pointed at one of the spots. “Dig out all the silver from that pit.”
The two of them dug for a long time. Yu Chen dug the most, filling out his own cart with all the rare materials. However, even if he had dug so much, they were still not enough to satisfy her.
“I can’t! The cart’s almost full anyway,” he wailed. “Even if I dig out some more, they wouldn’t be able to fit.”
He finally fell onto the ground.
Yu Chen thought that she’d request something else from him. He didn’t think that he’d be mining this entire time.
She didn’t even give him time to rest!
