Crowds of women surged towards him, enclosing him in their midst.

Hearing this, a trace of gloom flickered in Hua Xiaomo’s eyes. "He didn’t come to see me."
"Alright then," Yu Bao said with a sigh. "If you see President Qi, please give me a call. I’ll go look for him somewhere else."
He knew some matters were beyond his ability to interfere. Hua Xiaomo’s relationship with the two Qi Family brothers remained hopelessly entangled and impossible to sever. Who did she truly love deep down?
"Okay." Hua Xiaomo said nothing more. As she turned to enter the villa, Yu Bao spoke again.
"Hua Xiaomo, may I ask you one thing? Do you still love President Qi?" Yu Bao looked at her, an intense gleam he could hardly suppress in his eyes.
"..." Hua Xiaomo remained silent for a long time, the gloom in her eyes deepening.
"I want to go rest now, Mr. Yu. You should hurry and find President Qi!" Hua Xiaomo said. Ignoring him, she quickly entered the villa and hurried towards her room.
As soon as she reached her room and pushed open the door, Hua Xiaomo headed straight for the bed. Feeling utterly exhausted, she didn’t even bother lifting the covers before flopping down.
"Who are you?" Hua Xiaomo cried out, a surge of panic rising. What was going on? How did someone suddenly get into her room?
"Hua Xiaomo, I’m thirsty. Quickly get me some water," Qi Longbing said, suddenly sitting up on the bed and looking at her.
"Huh? What are *you* doing here?" Hua Xiaomo exclaimed. Then, without another word, she quickly poured a glass of water from the table and handed it to Qi Longbing.
Qi Longbing took the water and gulped it down in one go. Looking at Hua Xiaomo again, he smiled and said, "Are you surprised that I came to find you so late? Actually, there’s something I really want to tell you, but I’m afraid you’ll think it’s too abrupt."
"Oh, please, don’t say anything else," Hua Xiaomo said. "It’s too late. You should go home now. Besides, don’t climb ladders anymore! It’s really too dangerous." As she spoke, her gaze flicked to the nearby window; it was obvious Qi Longbing had climbed in through it again.
"Alright, alright, I know," Qi Longbing said with a smile. "By the way, I’m a bit hungry. Could you go make me something to eat?"
To tell the truth, he really was quite hungry. He had drunk too much at the bar earlier and had been out in the cold wind. Now that the effects of the alcohol had mostly worn off, his stomach felt completely empty.
"Qi Longbing, what would you like to eat? I can make it for you," Hua Xiaomo asked.
"Make me a plate of Ci Ba Fish. I think Aunt Huang’s Ci Ba Fish is delicious," Qi Longbing said, a slight smile playing on his incredibly handsome face as he looked at Hua Xiaomo. "Making Ci Ba Fish shouldn’t be too difficult, right, Hua Xiaomo? Can you make it?"
After thinking for a moment, Hua Xiaomo looked at him. "How about this? I’ll make you a plate of Ci Ba Fish, and also a bowl of clear soup noodles, okay?"
"Okay, okay, that would be fantastic!" Qi Longbing said with a laugh. "I’m really starving right now. If I could have a bowl of noodles and then a plate of Ci Ba Fish, I’d feel so much better."
Looking at Hua Xiaomo at this moment, she seemed so considerate! And she could even make him so many delicious dishes? This was truly wonderful!
"Alright then, you wait here. I’ll go make you a bowl of clear soup noodles right away. But don’t wander around, and don’t let my mother or brother see you. The moment the steaming hot noodles were placed before Qi Longbing, his eyes grew a little misty. It seems the one who cares about me most is still Hua Xiaomo.

"Alright, the Ci Ba Fish you wanted is ready now too. So, eat up," Hua Xiaomo said quickly, not dwelling on any other thoughts at the moment. "After you’re done, if there’s nothing else, you should probably leave."
