"President Qi, I’m merely your fake girlfriend. In the future, we should stick to the agreement; neither of us should violate its terms." A cold gleam shone from the depths of Hua Xiaomo’s eyes, and a fierce glint seemed to peek through the strands of her hair.
Grinding his teeth fiercely, Qi Longbing replied, "...Fine." This damned woman actually dared to threaten him?
Hua Xiaomo tossed him a faint smile. "That’s more like it. Behave yourself from now on, President Qi, and we can avoid a lot of unnecessary trouble."

He brushed aside a lock of long hair that had fallen forward. A fiendishly charming smile spread across his face, exuding an overwhelming, captivating allure.
Flinging away his tie, Qi Longbing’s lips twisted into a mocking sneer. He slid his hands into his pockets and walked out of the room. Upon reaching the living room, he found that enchanting figure sitting comfortably on the sofa.
He walked toward her, offering an indifferent smile without saying a word.
What’s wrong with him? What the hell is he smiling at?! Hua Xiaomo cast him a disdainful glance, then turned her head away. After the earlier "scuffle," her spirits seemed to have improved considerably.
"Miss Hua, are you comfortable sitting there?" Qi Longbing smirked at her, his tone ambiguous.
It was hard to discern what this guy was thinking.
Hua Xiaomo stood up. Her complexion shifted rapidly, but she managed to force a smile. "President Qi, I was just kidding with you earlier! Surely, President Qi isn’t so petty as to take offense, right?"
"...I might get angry with others, but with Miss Hua, my patience is always quite good," Qi Longbing said with a beaming smile, a wicked curl to his lips as he eyed the untouched steak on the table.
"Do you know why I prefer my steaks well-done?" Qi Longbing asked with a smile, his eyes filled with a bewitching glint.
The corners of his lips curved in amusement as he continued, "That’s because medium or medium-well steaks aren’t quite there yet. They need more time for the meat to truly absorb the flavors..."
To Hua Xiaomo, such insinuations were nothing but irritating buzzing in her ears; she wished she could just filter them out.

Hua Xiaomo looked at him but said nothing. Considering the lesson she had just taught him, he probably wouldn’t try any more inappropriate behavior.
Qi Longbing led Hua Xiaomo out through a side door. She was visibly surprised when she saw what was parked outside.
A sightseeing cart? She never imagined that something usually only seen on tours in a zoo would actually be parked right at his doorstep!
