"Alright, President Qi," the life secretary, Lin Fen, approached Hua Xiaomo with a smile. She reached into her suit pocket and, to Hua Xiaomo’s surprise, pulled out a measuring tape.
"I don’t need it," Hua Xiaomo said, her expression turning even darker as she glared at Qi Longbing.
Lin Fen looked at Hua Xiaomo, feeling rather troubled. The President has already spoken; why must she make things so difficult for me? As a life secretary, she always had to anticipate such needs—things like answering his girlfriend’s calls, knowing how to reply, and even buying clothes or shoes. That was why she always carried a measuring tape in her suit pocket, just in case.
Qi Longbing looked at her, a deep, unfathomable dark glint in his blue eyes. He spoke with an eerie calm, "I certainly don’t want my girlfriend’s backside on display for others to see. So, I’ll give you two options: either let Miss Lin go buy them while you wait here, or you wait here until I finish work, and I’ll personally go buy them for you!"
