“I… I don’t know her,” An Lan’s response astonished Ye Shikai. She was Su Qingyu’s right-hand in the corporation; it was unlikely she wouldn’t know, he stared intently at An Lan, her eyes flickering, clearly lying. Why would she lie about a woman’s identity?
“I see, let’s leave it at that then,” Ye Shikai did not press further.
“Your task is to prepare well for the wedding, don’t disappoint Qingyu,” An Lan shifted the topic. Su Qingyu and Ye Shikai’s impending marriage had already spread throughout Yanjing’s business circles, and naturally, An Lan was aware.
