Night time. In the bedroom.
Chu Yichen lifted his blanket and suddenly sat up on the bed. His head was still hurting. He leaned against the bed with his hand on his forehead. His bedroom was very spacious and the butler and servants were not allowed to enter his room. He rubbed his forehead forcefully.
His fever had already subsided, but he was still feeling unwell! He had been very satisfied with his room previously, but now he was irritated by being here alone!
He sat on the bed in a daze. Usually, when he was frustrated, he would choose to work. He picked up the document by the bed as usual. However, after reading one page, he could not continue.

Chu Yichen nodded and walked downstairs. He did not change his clothes. He walked towards the stairs in his black pajamas and slippers. He was tall and muscular, much more casual than usual. He was eye-catchingly handsome nevertheless.
The servants waiting downstairs saw him coming down and busied themselves in the kitchen preparing.
Li Cheng was downstairs reporting on work matters. Seeing that CEO Chu was fine, he left.
Chu Yichen went to the dinning area. He was hungry but had no appetite. Suddenly, he glanced at the people around him. “Where’s Li An’an?”
Butler Chu took out the porridge from the rice cooker and placed it in front of
Chu Yichen. It had been kept warm in the rice cooker for a few hours, but it was still fragrant and full-flavored. It was crystal clear, and very appetizing to look at.
“Young Master, Li An’an said that she has a patient to take care of at home, so she can’t stay. Please forgive her! Her job doesn’t include nights.” Butler Chu spoke up for Li An’an. Butler Chu’s attitude was solemn as he remarked, “Li An’an is too outrageous! She should put Young Master first. I’ll call her right away and get her to come over!”
Chu Yichen pushed away the porridge that had been placed before him. He felt that she did not care that he was sick, and this bowl of porridge held no sincerity. What was the point of eating it?
Butler Chu immediately called Li An’an.
“What, now! I’m not free.” Li An’an refused. She had to take care of the three babies. She couldn’t leave them alone. No way.
Butler Chu tried to negotiate. “Li An��an, I’ll ask someone to take care of your relative if you’d come and take care of Young Master. How about that? You know that Young Master is sick and in a bad mood. If you insist on not coming, Young Master will use force. No one has ever disobeyed him, and it won’t benefit you to do so!”
Li An’an was furious. “He’s already an adult. What’s wrong with being down with a cold? He’s not a baby!” She did not understand why a big and healthy man like Chu Yichen needed someone to take care of him for such a minor illness. How embarrassing was that! Seeing that she was not agreeable, the butler asked the bodyguards to prepare the car.
Li An’an heard the sound of the car engine starting. “Butler, where are you going so late at night?”
