Chapter 11
The three little fellows woke up a little from their sleepiness.
“My dad works out of town.”
“Yes, Dad loves us very much.”
“Daddy is very handsome.”
The lady smiled and said, “I see. It seems rather tough, but your family must be very blissful.”
Li An’an’s heart ached a little. However, this was what she and her children had agreed on before. They would say this to outsiders. Otherwise, she was afraid that they would be discriminated against in kindergarten.
At the entrance of the kindergarten, Li An’an kissed each of her babies.
“See you tonight, my darlings.”
“See you tonight, Mommy.”
The three children entered the kindergarten hand in hand.
The kindergarten principal walked over.
“Ma’am, one moment please.”
“Is something the matter, Principal?”
“Well, we just discovered yesterday that Junjun plays the piano very well. In a few days, our kindergarten will be holding an event for publicity. Will you let him appear on camera?”
“Sure.”
Li An’an was elated. Junjun knew how to play the piano because at their previous rented apartment, a retired music teacher had lived next door to them. He used to teach at a famous school. On one occasion, he brought Junjun out to play and realized that the boy was very talented, so he kept teaching him. Later, because he was going overseas to reunite with his daughter, he moved away. Before he left, he told her to let Junjun continue learning. However, because she could not afford to, his lessons stopped.
Now that she heard what the principal said, she immediately agreed.
Moreover, she was considering letting Junjun continue to learn the piano.
At the Villa
Li An’an started her day’s work. When she arrived in the morning, Chu Yichen must already have gone to the office. She was slightly relieved that they did not meet. She asked around and found out that Chu Yichen usually came back just as she got off work. There was not much chance for them to meet, so she just had to be as careful as possible.
“Li An’an, you’ll be in charge of the swimming pool from today. Clean it up and change the water.”
An enchanting woman in a maid’s uniform ordered her arrogantly.
Li An’an remembered that her name was Bai Feifei. Actually, she was baffled. Bai Feifei didn’t look like a servant at all. The necklace she was wearing alone was worth more than a million yuan.
She knew that the necklace was real because she had helped her adoptive mother, Liu Luhua, maintain her jewelry. She could differentiate between many jewelry brands.
Bai Feifei stared at Li An’an with displeasure.
She already knew that Chu Yichen had taken notice of Li An’an yesterday. Everyone knew that staying here was the best chance to get close to Chu Yichen. Which woman wouldn’t like a powerful man like him?
She had come here not for the paltry salary, but to become his woman.
Chu Yichen had been impressed by Li An’an as soon as she arrived. Bai Feifei could not let such a formidable opponent stay.
“Okay.”
Li An’an didn’t want to argue with her, so she turned around to comply with her orders.
Seeing that she was so obedient, Bai Feifei went upstairs with a cocky smile. This woman would do all the tiring work for her in future. There would be no time for her to seduce Chu Yichen.
Li An’an didn’t care. Compared to meeting Chu Yichen, she’d rather stay far away from him every day. She was willing to do all the hard chores!
Moreover, the pool was huge. She could work on it for the entire day.
At noon, Chu Yichen came back from the office and went to the living room for lunch. He glanced at the servants standing around him.
After lunch, he went outside for a walk.
He could see the busy figure by the pool from afar. Her uniform was a little wet, outlining her beautiful figure.
He walked closer.
Footsteps suddenly sounded behind her. Li An’an turned around in shock.
The hose in her hand slipped, and the water shot towards Chu Yichen. He was completely soaked from his hair to his shirt and pants.
He stared at her coldly. Under the sunlight, crystal clear water droplets flowed from his well-defined face to his neck, his Adam’s apple, and down his unbuttoned black shirt.
He was clearly in a sorry state. Yet, a wild aura exuded from him.
