“Li An’an, you’re the only one who has been retained. I hope you’ll work hard in the villa from now on. My name is Chu De. You may call me Butler Chu!”
Butler Chu stood up straight. It was obvious that he was a very shrewd man.
“Also, as requested, this is an advance on your first month’s salary. Keep it carefully, and remember to come to work tomorrow!”
“Yes, sir. I’ll definitely work hard.”
Li An’an exited the villa and walked out of the main entrance. As she walked on the main road, she heaved a sigh of relief. Because she had suddenly lost her job, she had fallen into a predicament. For the first time in their lives, Li An’an had brought the three children to eat at KFC. All these years, she had had to make good use of every single penny. The children were already so big, but she had only brought them to eat at KFC once.
“Mommy, it’s delicious!”
Li Baobao was wearing a floral dress and holding a chicken drumstick in her chubby little hand. She was eating happily.
Li Jùnjùn ate the wings.
Li Junjun only ate fries.
“Junjun, you eat a chicken drumstick too. Mommy got an advance on my salary. We won’t have to scrimp today.”
Li An’an placed a chicken drumstick in Junjun’s hand. Junjun was very sensible, but she didn’t want him to be too sensible—it broke her heart.
“Mommy, you eat. I don’t want it. Also, if they scold you in future, you have to bear with it, okay? Junjun understands you.”
Li Junjun was worried that his Mommy’s reckless personality would get her into trouble.
Li An’an smiled. “Don’t worry. Mommy is much smarter than before. Besides, I’ve been doing housework since I was young, so I’m very familiar with it. Mommy got this job because of her skills, not because of her looks! So you don’t have to worry about Mommy.”
Li An’an sighed. She knew that Junjun said all that because she had gotten into a fight with another child’s mother. Her children had been mocked for not having a father. Her impulsiveness had almost gotten her arrested.
This incident might have traumatized Junjun. She would never do that again in future!
Li Junjun nodded. “Okay, I believe in Mommy!”
At 7 o’clock in the morning, Li An’an sent her three babies to the kindergarten. This was one that she had found with relatively good service at the lowest price, after comparing kindergartens the whole of yesterday.
Li An’an handed the three children over to the teacher. She couldn’t bear to part with them and felt like crying. After all, the three children had always been with her. Now that they were suddenly going to be separated for a few hours, she felt terrible.
“Darlings… You must listen to the teachers in kindergarten, okay? Study hard and be polite!”
Li An’an was choking on her words.
The teacher stood at the side and smiled gently. The very first time that parents left their children here would always go like this. She understood how they felt.
Li Junjun hugged his Mommy.
“Mommy, don’t be sad. We’ll be home this afternoon. I’ll take good care of my brother and sister.”
The kindergarten teacher also took the opportunity to say, “That’s right, Ma’am. The children will return to your side tonight. Don’t worry about their time in kindergarten. We will certainly take good care of them.”
The teacher was a young lady. When she saw the three beautiful children, she was completely delighted. These three kids were probably the most beautiful children in the entire kindergarten. She’d be able to show off on her social media every day. From now on, she dared anyone to mock that the children in her class were ugly.

The three children waved at Li An’an and obediently followed the teacher into the school. They had already discussed last night that they could not let their Mommy worry. They would be the most obedient children in kindergarten.
