"Please God let them be happy. Give each other an open and understanding heart so they could have the happiness they deserve." Elder Master Ken murmured continuously as he watched the two from a distance.
He was actually nervous while he observed Cecile’s expression while Karl was talking.
Then, he exhaled deliberately and smiled to himself as he watched Karl and Cecile hugged each other.
"Master why are you peeking on them... It’s not good you know. You are basically intruding their privacy..." Butler Omni whispered from behind.
He couldn’t help but tease his Master as he passed by the corridor and noticed Elder Master Ken hiding. He got curious so he checked, only to find out that he was spying at the couple who was having a serious talk at the veranda.
Elder Master smacked lightly Omni’s head and said, "What intruding are you saying old maid? Did I interfere or something? It’s called watching dimwit! Can’t you see? It’s like I’m watching a very good movie scene and I feel my heart is jumping with delight because it’s a happy ending and not a tragic one!"
Butler Omni laughed quietly as he nodded. "Yes, I guess now everything was cleared and Cecile must have accepted Karl’s heart and sincerity. I know Cecile would understand everything besides it’s not Karl’s fault. If you will see things clearly, he too was a victim. He almost died that night for interfering and trying his best to save Cecile."
"Geez we should have pushed him harder before. He should have done telling Cecile everything earlier and I bet Ryu will not be an only child. You’re lineage is full of boring boys. Those secrets had chained Karl’s marriage life to not grow." Butler Omni commented while he stared at the couple.
He turned his head back to his Master and smiled. He could see tears were swelling in his eyes. Those were the tears of so much joy. His Master was so happy right now to see his son was finally freed from his long time burden.
"Master, now that everything seemed to be in a good condition between Karl and Cecile. I think it’s about time to let them know of everything that we found out. I think they deserve to know the current situation..." he suggested.
"I would consider that and think more about it Omni. For now, let this couple be at peace and enjoy the moment besides, nothing is confirmed yet. It’s just speculation for now."
Butler Omni sighed. "Well I told you already we can do certain..."
Elder Master Ken stared at him with wide eyes, "Omni I know what to do. Don’t rush things."
"You’re like Karl too Master. You like suspense too much, prolonging things. Why don’t you just make things easy for everyone? I really can’t understand what you’re thinking most of the times." Butler Omni complained.
Elder Master Ken laughed and said, "You don’t have to understand Omni. Sometimes, I don’t want to interfere and let fate decide how things should be happening. I believe that what’s meant to be will happen at its right time. As long as no one is hurt physically, I won’t meddle and I clearly told you that before."
"Yeah right... You want Ryu to handle things about that matter." Butler Omni said with twisted mouth.
Yes, he wanted Ryu to know everything by himself and he wanted to see how his grandson would handle everything out. He must find things on his own and work on that matter on his own. Ryu must fight that battle alone.
Butler Omni heard Elder Master Ken muttered as he shifted his gaze back to Karl and Cecile, "See... look at them... what is meant to happen will eventually happen..."
Butler Omni sighed, he couldn’t agree on it because it’s like leaving yourself in fate so he said, "Hmm but one has to understand that you always have the power of choice and a free will to make these choices."
Elder Master Ken laughed as he turned around to walk out and leave the area. Butler Omni followed him and he wondered if there’s something funny with his comments as Elder Master Ken was still laughing as he walked.
"Master, why are you laughing? Did I say something funny?" Butler Omni asked with a confused voice.
Elder Master Ken stopped and looked at him with an arched brow.
"Well you are right Omni. Karl chose to be brave this time and everything went well. Fate and making a choice do correlate of course... But, I just find it so funny hearing those words from you." he said and burst out in laughter once more.
"Oh Omni, my stomach is aching for making me laugh like this."
Then he added with a crazy smile, "So you speak about making choices and not leaving everything to fate right? Why don’t you apply it first Omni? Apply it first to your Goddamn boring love life! Go make that choice to find a wife instead of waiting for your fated one you Old Maid! So as you said, it’s time for you to make that choice to find and search for a partner and hurry up!"
Butler Omni pouted and just scratched his head. Then he said, "How about you Master? I feel bad to get a partner while seeing you without one... So you get one first then I’ll follow. You well know how I love following your footsteps."
Elder Master Ken was about to hit Omni on his head once more but the latter quickly ran away from him because he knew that the Elder Master would definitely hit his head with the teasing he made.
"Master, I will stay single if you stay single," Butler Omni added laughing as he ran.
"Tsk... that rotten Old Maid..." Elder Master Ken murmured with a grin.
