Arya woke up by Ryu’s gentle kisses on her cheek. "We have already arrived in the city. Let’s buy your things first." Ryu whispered.
When they arrived at the airport, Ryu didn’t leave her side, encircling his arm around her waist and cuddling her when they were inside the plane, as if he knew she was in a struggle.
She looked at his handsome face and smiled with narrowed eyes, to hide her almost tearing eyes. She wanted so badly to tell him everything but she was not confident enough.
She was so scared at that moment but she felt secure in his embrace. That’s the first time she fell asleep while she was full of worries and inwardly crying.
She hugged him tightly, trying to hide the tears that were ready to fall from her eyes at any moment.
"Let’s just stay like this for a while. I am still sleepy." She murmured as an excuse.
After she made sure that she was already calm enough, she freed herself from his embrace and smiled sweetly.
"Let’s go now." She said and stood up.
They went inside the biggest shopping mall in the city, holding hands. Arya enjoyed looking around as she swayed their holding hands.
’How nice it is to feel free like this, thinking about nothing else,’ she thought. She wanted to enjoy every moment, even if it was just this once.
She would try to take the most of it with Ryu until this one week ended.
She picked up all the things she might need during that week, including swimwear. This was her chance to learn how to swim. Ryu definitely knew how to swim, so she would ask him to teach her.
She looked at him and she couldn’t help but laugh hard. Ryu was picking various clothes that he thought would suit her. He even selected and got more clothes than her.
"Hey, are you the one who will wear all that?" She said jokingly, still laughing.
"These will definitely look good on you," he commented as he winked at her.
They were already done shopping when a man suddenly approached Ryu.
"Sir, I am sorry, but Old Master Ken is calling," Chen said gasping for breath as he gave the phone to Ryu, who took it and walked away from them.
Their CEO had a deep respect for the Old Master Ken. Although he was stubborn and never followed most of his demands and requests pertaining the family business, he absolutely listened to him and never rejected his requests about other things as long as it didn’t involve his personal matters.
Chen looked at Arya and smiled, "Hi Madam Ken, I am Chen. CEO Ryu’s assistant. Please, don’t hesitate to contact me if you need anything." He handed his visit card to her.
Arya laughed and said, "Why are you so formal and why are you calling me ’Madam Ken’? My name is Arya Tan, so just call me Arya."
She offered her hand for a handshake, and Chen shook her hand with a blush on his smiling face.
’My soon to be Madam is so beautiful and seems so good. No wonder our CEO is deeply hooked,’ he thought.
After the shopping, they went directly to the harbor where Ryu’s yacht was docked. Arya felt refreshed because of the sea breeze while they traveled to the island. She remembered the movie Titanic and since she was at the center tip of the yacht she raised her arms sideward imitating the popular female lead Rose in the movie.
She smiled naughtily. If Kay was here, he would have definitely sung Celion Dion’s popular song-the movie’s theme song.
Suddenly, she heard Ryu’s voice, as he wrapped his arms around her waist:
"You’re here, there’s nothing I fear
And I know that my heart will go on
We’ll stay forever this way
You are safe in my heart and
My heart will go on and on"
Arya was laughing hard and asked, "Are you singing or crying?"
"So, Rose, I mean Arya, always remember that you are safe with me and all you need to do is to trust me." He said with a loving jest.
Ryu’s arm felt good and she held them subconsciously.
"Stop fooling around," she said laughing.
"You know, when I joke around the majority of it is real, so always remember that," Ryu commented with a serious tone and kissed her neck lovingly.
Arya understood what he meant and she was tempted to speak out everything. However, her fears still overpowered the courage Ryu gave her.
