"Wanwan!" Shen Yi quickly got up and went to Ye Wanwan’s side, crouching down to support her shoulders.
He thought about how Ye Wanwan might react when he told her the news of his going abroad—she might be unhappy, she might get angry, or she might act all aggrieved and coquettishly insist on going with him.
But he never anticipated Ye Wanwan’s emotions would be this agitated.
Ye Wanwan pushed Shen Yi with her hand and then turned her head to the side, not letting him see her.

In the end, Shen Yi had no choice but to stand up, hold Ye Wanwan in front of him, and gently stroke her head, as he made up his mind.

Ye Wanwan pushed Shen Yi again, this time pushing him away. She lifted her hand, hastily wiped away her tears, then quickly glanced at Shen Yi before averting her gaze.
"I’m not going with you," Ye Wanwan said, looking down and fiddling with her fingers, her tone firm in refusal.
Shen Yi slightly frowned, not quite understanding her meaning, "You don’t want to go together?"
"I’m not going, I’ll just stay in the country honestly," Ye Wanwan’s voice was still a bit hoarse, with a trace of a sob.
Not to mention she knew that there wouldn’t be anything between Shen Yi and Fang Xian, at least Shen Yi had absolutely no interest in Fang Xian.
