"Mom," Shen Yi called out, followed by Ye Wanwan.
Lin Xu smiled and said, "I was just talking about you two with Xiaoran, and here you are."
The Xiaoran mentioned by Lin Xu was the middle-aged woman sitting next to her, who was her longtime friend.
Shen Yi naturally knew her, bowed slightly, and greeted her very politely, "Auntie He."
"This must be Wanwan, you look really beautiful and spirited. It’s such a pity I couldn’t make it to your wedding," He Xiaoran said somewhat regretfully.
Ye Wanwan quickly followed suit and called out, "Auntie He."

"Don’t stand there, come and sit," He Xiaoran also gestured for Ye Wanwan to join them. Without hesitating further, Ye Wanwan walked over and sat down between the two women.
He Xiaoran and Lin Xu continued their chat, and Ye Wanwan occasionally added a few words.
