Taozhi used not to enjoy playing with Ye Wanwan; it was as if it didn’t know who its lifetime meal ticket was, rarely taking the initiative to show up in front of her.
But recently, Taozhi would occasionally come to her side, making a round, and then drift away leisurely.

Once everything was ready, Ye Wanwan prepared to leave. But just as she stepped out of the villa, a wave of hot air hit her, and she slightly looked up at the high sun, involuntarily furrowing her brow.
Ye Wanwan hurriedly got into the car where the air conditioning was on, creating a world completely different from the outside.
The whole way, Ye Wanwan was interacting with Taozhi; it was willing to let her hold it and wasn’t struggling randomly, being very well behaved.
About half an hour later, the car stopped at the entrance of the pet hospital. Ye Wanwan got out of the car, carrying the cat carrier inside, while Uncle Zhang, who parked the car, quickly followed her.
Since the appointment was booked in advance, the pet assistant greeted Ye Wanwan as soon as she arrived and let Taozhi out, checking its appearance first.
"Taozhi has put on more weight," the pet assistant said with a smile.
Ye Wanwan also smiled and nodded, "Yeah, it’s too hot, and it doesn’t like going out to play."
"I’ll take it to bathe now. Just come pick it up in three hours. If you’re busy, you can come back for it when you’re free," the pet assistant suggested.
"Sure, thank you," Ye Wanwan said, not planning to wait around the whole time.
Not far from the pet shop was a shopping mall, where Ye Wanwan decided to spend some time.
It was Shen Yi’s birthday next week, and she needed to prepare a birthday gift for him.
But Ye Wanwan was torn because she didn’t know what kind of birthday gift to prepare for Shen Yi since he lacked nothing.
