Shen Yi looked at Assistant Chen with a slight frown, "Did you drink any?"
Assistant Chen had just opened his mouth when Shen Yi cut him off and said decisively, "You drink."
Assistant Chen originally wanted to say something more, but under the gaze of his boss, he chose to shut up and silently drank the ginger tea.
Assistant Chen grimaced as he finished his drink and then glanced at the old monk before looking back at his boss Shen Yi and finally said, "I’ll go get another cup for Shen Yi."
With that, Assistant Chen hurried back to get ginger tea from the monk.
The old monk chuckled softly on the side, and Shen Yi looked at him again. The monk looked at Shen Yi with a benevolent expression in his eyes, "It seems that Benefactor Shen has gotten his wish."

After a long while, Shen Yi withdrew his gaze and took out his phone again to send a video call to Ye Wanwan.
Ye Wanwan, upon confirming that Shen Yi had reached the monastery, even though she could see that he was in a bit of a sorry state at the moment, still breathed a sigh of relief. At least he was safe.

"It’s still raining," Ye Wanwan glanced out the window again. Though it was not as heavy as before, it was still raining.
Shen Yi nodded, "It’s okay, it’s very safe inside the monastery."
"Then, are you soaked? Do you have a change of clothes? I remember that monastery seemed almost abandoned. Are there many others taking shelter there?" Ye Wanwan asked several questions in a row.
She had been there once before and had happened to see the monastery. At that time, she heard it was nearly deserted, with only a few monks left. From the outside, it looked as if it was closed.
"There are quite a few people sheltering from the rain; the monks are helping to cook ginger tea and boil water. But there are also two children and several women there," Shen Yi reported truthfully.
Ye Wanwan understood what Shen Yi meant, but on second thought, at least he was safer there than outside.
The two of them chatted for a while longer until Shen Yi said, "I just checked and it seems that there’s no electricity here."
"Then let’s not talk for now, we can message each other later!" Ye Wanwan hurriedly said.
