Shen Yi settled into the seat opposite her, and a waiter came over to take their order. The couple promptly decided on their meal, and the waiter quietly turned and left, careful not to disturb the pair.
On the third-floor terrace, they were the only ones dining, with the violinist playing at a considerable distance from them.
The soothing melody of the violin, the gentle evening breeze, and the setting sun casting a crimson hue over half the sky created a delightful scene as the beautiful couple faced each other.
Shen Yi was an extremely well-mannered man, and with his wife sitting across from him, he was even more thoughtful, cutting her steak and passing it to Ye Wanwan before she started eating.

Ye Wanwan joyfully continued eating her steak, seemingly very fond of the restaurant’s taste, and ended up eating quite a lot.
When Shen Yi went to settle the bill, Ye Wanwan stood not far away, looking down at her small belly.
She wore a waist-cinching dress that day, which usually accentuated her perfect waistline, but now, having eaten her fill, Ye Wanwan felt her little stomach had popped out.

Shen Yi, seeing Ye Wanwan’s suddenly reddened face, looked down at his hand that was still on her stomach and suddenly understood.
