It’s said to be a very painful thing, some mothers are luckier and don’t suffer from it, some might not have it too severely, but severe cases can be unbearably painful and could even lead to mastitis.
"Should we go to the hospital to have it checked out?" Shen Yi asked with some worry.
Ye Wanwan shook her head, "It’s already very late today, let’s talk about it tomorrow."
Indeed, it was already past eleven at night, Zhouzhou had been fed and handed over to the nursemaid, and Ye Wanwan needed to rest, then get up in the middle of the night to feed again.

Shen Yi walked over, reached out to take the baby from Ye Wanwan’s arms, having recently been the one to burp the baby, and though initially hesitant to hold Zhouzhou, he had gradually become accustomed to it.
Ye Wanwan handed Zhouzhou into Shen Yi’s arms, then twisted her arm a bit. She didn’t say anything, but Shen Yi noticed on his own.
He indeed arranged a very professional nursemaid to help Ye Wanwan share the load, but she always wanted to be hands-on, as if to make up for her past neglect of Zhouzhou in every way.

"Aren’t you uncomfortable with engorgement?" Shen Yi said as he reached the side of the bed.
"Mm-hmm," Ye Wanwan nodded, indeed feeling discomfort from the engorgement, but what was Shen Yi doing?
Ye Wanwan still looked at him puzzled, not sure what Shen Yi planned to do.
Shen Yi first squatted on the ground and fished a small towel out of the steaming hot basin, wrung it out, then sat on the bed, and looked at Ye Wanwan seriously and said, "Lift up your clothes."
Ye Wanwan’s cheeks instantly turned red, glaring at Shen Yi somewhat indignantly.
Recently, in front of Shen Yi, she had tried her best to pretend not to be embarrassed, but with Shen Yi being so direct, she was still embarrassed!
Shen Yi had no choice but to explain, "It’s very late, and you need rest, calling someone over or going to the hospital is inconvenient."
"I heard that a warm compress can relieve the pain. Try it first and see if it feels more comfortable. Tomorrow, we can call a professional."
