"Ah!" Ye Wanwan sighed, feeling rather melancholic as she said, "I know, but Zhouzhou’s temperament is just too gentle. What if someone bullies him?"
Shen Yi pondered for a while, clearly not as composed as he appeared, worried about Zhouzhou as well.
It took Shen Yi a good while before he continued, "Minor scuffles are normal. If someone does bully Zhouzhou, we’ll deal with it together then."
After all, everything was uncertain, and Shen Yi didn’t dare say that these things would definitely not happen. But if they did, he vowed to handle them properly. While not showing favoritism towards Zhouzhou, he wouldn’t let anyone bully him either!
Seeing Shen Yi so earnest, Ye Wanwan finally smiled.
Shen Yi raised his hand to gently rub Ye Wanwan’s head and softly said, "Alright, it’s getting late. Rest early. Aren’t we taking Zhouzhou to kindergarten tomorrow?"
Shen Yi actually felt that afterwards, Ye Wanwan wouldn’t need to get up early every day to take Zhouzhou to kindergarten since he could just bring Zhouzhou with him on his way to work.
But the first day was different, and Ye Wanwan would definitely be the one to take Zhouzhou.
Ye Wanwan nodded, and then the two of them returned to the bedroom together.
By then Zhouzhou had already fallen asleep. Shen Yi and Ye Wanwan exchanged a helpless glance.

Ye Wanwan and Shen Yi had already agreed on Zhouzhou sleeping on his own after his third birthday.

Shen Yi had no comeback, often worrying that under his and Ye Wanwan’s indulgence, Zhouzhou would turn into a spoiled child!
But there was no helping it, neither of them had the heart to say no to Zhouzhou, both hoping that the other would be the "bad guy."
Ye Wanwan woke up early. It was Zhouzhou who had to start kindergarten, yet the truly excited one was Ye Wanwan.
She had already prepared everything the night before, but now, Ye Wanwan, worried she had forgotten something, checked again.
By the time Ye Wanwan was ready, Shen Yi came downstairs with Zhouzhou, who by then was already dressed in the kindergarten’s summer uniform.

Zhouzhou wriggled out of Shen Yi’s hand and hurried over to Ye Wanwan’s side, calling out in a milky voice, "Mommy."
"Are you scared about going to school today, Zhouzhou?" Ye Wanwan asked gently.
"Not scared," Zhouzhou echoed Ye Wanwan’s way of speaking, adding a "ya" at the end just like her.
"Really not scared?" Ye Wanwan felt Zhouzhou must be lying. Which child wouldn’t be afraid?
He says he’s not scared now, surely because he doesn’t understand what it means to be away from mom and dad, grandparents, and even Auntie Yang, to independently spend a whole day in kindergarten!
