Zhouzhou smiled shyly, he missed his daddy and mommy very much, but he knew they would definitely come to pick him up, so he wasn’t afraid.
After that, Shen Yi talked to Zhouzhou about other things, successfully diverting Zhouzhou’s attention away from the topic of "wanting a little sister."

When Ye Wanwan walked over to Zhouzhou, he had already answered the video call—it was Lin Xu who had called.
Lin Xu started asking Zhouzhou how his day at kindergarten was, and Zhouzhou obediently answered her questions.
It wasn’t until after the video call ended that Ye Wanwan and Shen Yi finally took Zhouzhou out for a walk.
It was still the height of summer, and it would become unbearably hot after just a little while outside; if it were up to Ye Wanwan, she wouldn’t step outside at all.
Ye Wanwan and Shen Yi held Zhouzhou’s hands as they walked around the villa, taking a short loop that lasted nearly half an hour, and Ye Wanwan was already beginning to sweat.

Shen Yi also noticed and smiled helplessly.
"Watch where you’re going, Zhouzhou, or you’ll fall," Shen Yi cautioned as he continued walking forward, holding Zhouzhou’s hand.
However reluctant Zhouzhou was, as the distance grew, he could no longer see the little girl.
Once home, Shen Yi helped Zhouzhou take a bath. Ye Wanwan went to prepare Zhouzhou’s uniform for the next day; even though Mrs. Yang could do these tasks, Ye Wanwan still preferred to do them herself.
But after arranging everything, Ye Wanwan sat down to wait for Zhouzhou to finish bathing and found herself thinking about what he’d said that day.
