"Holy moly!" Yu Qiqi couldn’t believe it, "You guys are really taking this way too calmly."
"If I really had that much initiative, I would have left the Planning Department with the way things are now." Tang Xiaorou didn’t hide her inclination to slack off at all.
"Want some lime-flavored ones?" Tang Xiaorou held up the bag of chips she had just opened.
"Snack time!" Yu Qiqi quickly ran over.
By the time Su Hang brought back the coffee, and Zhang Zixuan came over after finishing his work, they were all chatting and laughing in the office, and they ended up directly starting a team game of five.
They had completely pushed Wang Xuemin’s matter to the back of their minds.
Before it was time to leave work, everyone was already prepared to head out, and as soon as the clock struck the hour, the five members of the Planning Department became some of the quickest to leave the company.
Once the elevator reached the ground floor, and they stepped out, Yu Qiqi asked Ye Wanwan, "Wanwan, is your husband coming to pick you up today too?"
Ye Wanwan shook her head, "Not today, he’s got work too. He can’t be leaving early every day."
"Makes sense." Yu Qiqi nodded in agreement.
"So how are you getting back today?" Yu Qiqi asked further.
"My driver is picking me up." Ye Wanwan replied.
The other four fell silent for a moment, unsure of what to say.
Ye Wanwan could tell what they were thinking but didn’t explain. Seeing Uncle Zhang park the car roadside and wait, Ye Wanwan waved goodbye to them, "I’ll head off first, see you tomorrow."
None of them left, watching as Ye Wanwan got into a luxury car, and it was Zhang Zixuan who first spoke up, "Will I ever have a chance to own a car like that in my lifetime?"
Su Hang shook his head, "I doubt it; I remember that’s a limited edition model."
The shock on everyone’s face deepened, and Yu Qiqi lamented, "Are we dealing with a young lady here to experience life?"
While everyone at the company’s entrance was still pondering, Ye Wanwan had already gotten into the car and asked Uncle Zhang to take her to the pet hospital first, wondering if Taozhi was feeling any better today.
When Ye Wanwan arrived, the doctor had prepared some goat milk powder, and Taozhi had buried her entire head in the bowl, eagerly lapping up the milk powder.
Ye Wanwan felt her heart melt and quickly took out her phone to snap pictures, sending them to Shen Yi, "Look! Taozhi is so cute!"
She sent five or six photos in quick succession, and Shen Yi was fast to reply.
"Talking about Taozhi?"
As Ye Wanwan watched Taozhi, she found time to text back to Shen Yi, only then realizing he didn’t know this name.
Ye Wanwan replied, "It’s the name I’ve given my kitty. What do you think?"
"Not bad." Shen Yi didn’t have much of an opinion on it; as long as she was happy, that was what mattered.
Ye Wanwan spent a good half hour at the pet hospital playing with Taozhi, then reluctantly put her back in her cage.
"Eat lots, get well soon, and then I’ll come to take you home," Ye Wanwan said to the kitten through the glass display.
Shen Yi had entertainments this evening, so Ye Wanwan had dinner alone when she got home.
After resting for a bit following dinner, she went upstairs to take a bath.
After her bath, Ye Wanwan originally started to play a game, but after losing three rounds in a row and being insulted by someone, she got so angry that she sent over ten messages in a row to Shen Yi on WeChat.
It wasn’t until Shen Yi said he would play with her next time, and if anyone dared insult her again, he would fight them until they couldn’t speak, that Ye Wanwan started to feel less angry.
Talking made Ye Wanwan feel drowsy, and before long, she closed her eyes.
