The call ended, but Ye Wanwan still felt some worry at the bottom of her heart. However, since Shen Yi had said he would tell her when he came back in the evening, there was no use in worrying now.
When it was almost time for Zhouzhou to finish school, Ye Wanwan informed the nanny and then hurried out to pick up Zhouzhou.

It was rare for her to be awake and not cry or fuss when no one was holding her. Shen Yi hadn’t washed his hands yet, so he couldn’t hold her. Instead, he stood there and watched her for a while, his eyes filled with tenderness.
Feeling someone approaching, Shen Yi turned his head to see Ye Wanwan coming up beside him, looking at him with an expression that seemed to hold back words.
