Shen Yi continued massaging Ye Wanwan’s legs, his body and mind now felt refreshingly unhindered, and he didn’t even feel sleepy.
Watching Ye Wanwan with her eyes closed, seemingly enjoying the massage, Shen Yi found it a bit amusing.

When he was with the Ye Family, he had seen some videos of Wanwan as a child. She was exceptionally cute, raised well by her mother, polite and good at acting coquettishly.
If it were his daughter, he would cherish and protect her even more than Mr. and Mrs. Ye, and probably to an excessive extent.

If his daughter grew up and went off with another man, he feared he wouldn’t be as amiable as his father-in-law.

After hesitating for a few seconds, Shen Yi still went to sit by the bed, stretched out his hand, scooped her up into his arms, and kissed the corner of her lips gently, saying softly, "Wanwan, it’s time to get up."
Ye Wanwan frowned, pushed at Shen Yi, turned her head to the side, and continued sleeping.
Shen Yi smiled gently, "If you don’t get up now, you’re going to be late for work. Or are you planning to take a day off?"
Ye Wanwan seemed to hear him, frowned again, and struggled in Shen Yi’s arms for quite a while before reluctantly opening her eyes.
When she looked at Shen Yi, her eyes were full of accusations!
It was all his fault!
Shen Yi smiled warmly, yet at that particular moment, in Ye Wanwan’s eyes, it appeared as though he was mocking her, mocking that she was both weak and flirtatious.
"You’re not allowed to hold me!" Ye Wanwan said with a furrowed brow, looking foolish.
"Alright, I won’t hold you." Shen Yi promised while letting go of his embrace.
Ye Wanwan did feel a bit uncomfortable, but realizing she was running out of time, she hurried her actions.
However, her steps slowed down as she moved from the bed toward the bathroom.
Shen Yi came up from behind and carried her to the bathroom, then helped her with the water and squeezed the toothpaste for her.
"Sorry, I might have lost control a bit last night." Shen Yi stood beside her, sounding a bit guilty.
Ye Wanwan paused in her tooth-brushing, her cheeks heating up, but seeing how Shen Yi could say it so naturally, she started to feign nonchalance.
"Hmph!" Ye Wanwan snorted coldly, "That’s not what you were saying last night."
"Didn’t you say you wanted to have a baby?" Shen Yi retorted.
