Shen Wenzhou’s head throbbed, he was utterly exhausted, he hadn’t rested well at all recently.
But now he couldn’t sleep at all, it seemed to be pouring rain outside, which added to Shen Wenzhou’s restlessness.
He disliked rainy days, had done so since he was young, especially thunderstorms which always made him feel irritable.
Because the window wasn’t shut properly, the curtains flapped in the wind, and Shen Wenzhou got out of bed to close it.
After closing the window, Shen Wenzhou didn’t walk away, but stood there, looking out at the storm.
Staring out for a long, long time, Shen Wenzhou thought about many things that didn’t add up.
He had never noticed anything amiss before.
It wasn’t just him in his family who disliked rainy days.
All four members of his family disliked them!
Sure, rainy days are inconvenient, and it’s common for people to find them annoying, nothing odd about that.
But his aversion to rainy days wasn’t due to the inconvenience of getting around!
It was a simple hatred for rainy days, like a physiological aversion without any reason, just like now, there was a downpour outside, but he wasn’t going anywhere, it shouldn’t affect him, yet he felt scared and repulsed.
Just the occurrence of rain made him feel uncomfortable, uncontrollably irritable.
Especially when he was outside during a rainy day, it was as if a sense of foreboding lingered over him.
His father also detested rainy days, even showing great anxiety when it rained.
Back then, he didn’t think much of it since he also hated rainy days.
