"Payday!" Yu Qiqi said excitedly.
Su Hang and Zhang Zixuan quickly took out their phones to check, and even Tang Xiaorou stopped her drama series, exiting the video app to check her messages.
Ye Wanwan was watching them, suddenly feeling a bit envious—they all had wages to receive!
"Wanwan, you check too. Didn’t you work for a week last month?" Yu Qiqi had already seen her salary, and her eyes were gleaming, clearly very pleased with it.

"Shall we party tonight?" Yu Qiqi asked everyone, which was actually just asking Ye Wanwan. They had an unspoken agreement that they would go out and have fun whenever payday came; it was almost like a department tradition at this point.
Ye Wanwan nodded, wanting to experience the feeling of going out to have fun with her colleagues.
So, they began to discuss where to eat dinner that night and what to do afterwards.
Ye Wanwan messaged Shen Yi to let him know she would be going out with her colleagues after work.
Shen Yi didn’t ask much, just told her to have fun and to let him know when she was nearly done so he could pick her up.
