The end of Fang Lin’s fight against the Death Trio had been anti-climactic. Sure, there were some action, but what was supposed to be the main event was terminated quickly due to their incompatibility.
Not only that, but Fang Lin dared to steal money from the losing team. Only when the Disciplinary Division arrived in the battle arena that Fang Lin withdrew his meaty paws.
Upon knowing that he had already won, Fang Lin decided to go back on his room. But before he could do so, he was approached by Tang Ya. Everyone’s eyes turned red as they wanted to see what will happen.
Fang Lin sighed, knowing that Tang Ya wanted to talk to him about Empyrea. He was about to greet her when Tang Ya spoke up first.
“Come with me in my room. We have a lot of talking to do.”
If they were the only ones here, what Tang Ya said would have been fine. But they were now at the presence of many disciples. Hearing such words coming out from Tang Ya’s mouth led the crowd to a frenzy.
“Her room? Lots of talking to do?”
“Hmm…. Maybe she wants to have a different ‘talking’….”
“F**k this guy, getting all the beautiful girls!”
Tang Ya realized her speaking blunder a little too late. She blushed deeply as she attempted to wipe away the misunderstanding.
“It’s not what you think it is! We have a strategy planning for the mission!” Tang Ya then hefted her broadsword as she said, “Those who will spread false information shall suffer my wrath, ok?”
The crowd just nodded as they saw Tang Ya, Fang Yu, Fang Lin and the armored woman fly off.
As for the Death Trio, they sulked in their rooms as they lamented their fates.

Inside Tang Ya’s room.
“So, who was this scary-looking girl right there?” Of course, what Fang Lin could see from Empyrea was her original, voluptuous form. He had to avoid ogling at her legs, which stretched out seductively in front of him. He knew that if he started checking Empyrea out, she might notice it. This will then lead to more suspicion.
He sighed, knowing that it was better to not enjoy than to suffer in the end.
It was Tang Ya who replied. “This woman right here was a guard sent by the Tian Ji Emperor. Her name was Empyrea.”
“Wait, the Emperor? What the hell happened!” Good thing Fang Lin remembered all the acting lessons his master taught him. Even Tang Ya was impressed with his outburst.
“This is no joke right?”
“We are not joking at all, Fang Lin.” Tang Ya then narrated what happened according to what she heard from Fang Yu. Fang Lin just nodded and appeared to get shocked where he was supposed to be shocked.
Once Fang Lin ‘knew’ everything about Empyrea, he put on a solemn expression on his face. He seemed to be a little wary as he talked to Empyrea.
“You are sure you are not here for anything malicious?”
Fang Lin had no way on knowing on what the fierce girl might look as he can only see a masked person nodding up and down. He pretended to sigh in relief as he leaned back on his chair.
“So, what are we going to do now?” Fang Yu spoke out of the blue. Tang Li then woke up sleepily from her nap on Fang Yu’s head and floated into Fang Lin’s head. She yawned again as she now slept on Fang Lin’s head. Because she was invisible, no one except Fang Lin and Fang Yu noticed it.
“……..”
“Is there a problem Fang Yu?” Tang Ya noticed Fang Lin and Fang Yu’s abnormal behavior earlier.
“Ah nothing at all Tang Ya.” Fang Yu managed to compose herself as she managed to ascertain that Tang Li was safely nestled of Fang Lin’s head. She then continued of speaking.
“So we will continue with our plan then? Fang Lin will go to the Forest of Death to investigate, while me, you and Empyrea will go to the Solstice Kingdom to capture Wang Hao and fulfill the mission related to that dragon.”
Tang Ya nodded as she expressed her assent. “From what I know, the experiential training will start tomorrow. But we can send out Fang Lin much earlier than that. What we need right now was to wait for the Grand Elder to arrive and have his approval to leave. When we gain his approval, we can send Fang Lin later. This will give us more leverage to gather evidence.”
“That’s all settled then.” Fang Yu then laid on her bed as she continued speaking. “Knowing the Grand Elder, I reckon he might be arriving any time now.”
Fang Yu seemed to be lucky, as after she uttered those words, they heard the bells tolling, signifying the arrival of Li Daozi.
Upon hearing this, Fang Lin realized this might be his chance to deepen bonds with Empyrea. He stood up while practically dragging Tang Ya with him. Tang Li was on his head as he left the room.
“Fang Yu, me and Tang Ya will do our best to convince the Grand Elder. Just stay here with Empyrea.”
After saying this, Fang Lin closed the door.
Only Fang Yu and Empyre were left in the room. Fang Yu stood up as she approached the closed door. She locked it after she was sure that Tang Ya will not be going back. She then stared at the curious Empyrea.
She managed to hide her grin as she asked the voluptuous masked lady,
“Are you tired? Do you want some massage?”
