Tang Suiyu returned to her room and called Li Buyan. It took a while for the call to be answered.
On the other end, Li Xingle’s lazy voice came through, "Hey there, little sister-in-law, what’s up?"
"Why are you answering my phone! Give it back!" Li Buyan shouted.
Tang Suiyu had been lying on her bed, but she instantly sat up straight. Was Little Li being bullied?
"Li Xingle, where are you guys? Don’t you dare bully Little Li!" She immediately started walking toward the room opposite. "Give the phone back to Little Li! Or I’ll come find you with Uncle Ye!"
"Little sister-in-law, are you threatening me with Ye Gushen? You really know how to utilize your resources well!" Li Xingle held the phone high. Li Buyan jumped, and he stood right on the couch next to him.
Li Buyan could only look up at his height and sighed.
"Do you have any shame, a grown man, snatching my stuff!"
"Do I have any shame? Don’t you know that very well?" Li Xingle ran his free hand through her hair, "Little sister-in-law, I’ll send your bestie back to school right away, so don’t go fetching Ye Gushen, or who knows what I’d do to her!"
Tang Suiyu’s steps halted as she stood at Ye Gushen’s door, "How do I know if you’re telling the truth or lying? Unless you give the phone to Little Li and start a video call, I need to see her leave personally."
"Just giving her the phone is fine, starting a video call is unnecessary... It wastes too much data..." Li Xingle made a dramatic show of being stingy.
"I’m calling Uncle Ye..." Tang Suiyu pretended to knock on the door, "I’m really calling him!"
Truth be told, Li Xingle wasn’t afraid of Ye Gushen, but now was not the time.
The little girl in front of him wasn’t in his grasp yet.
Li Xingle handed the phone back to Li Buyan, then picked up his blazer and left the booth.

The next day, Tang Suiyu cheerfully went to school!
On the first day of school, she and Li Buyan laughed and chatted for a long time.
Chen Zhinan, from the podium, glanced at them, "Some students need to keep a lower profile."
Tang Suiyu, guilty as sin, looked up at Chen Zhinan, then quickly lowered her head again.
Such a strict teacher!
They were sitting at the back, while Bai Cai and Shi Qingqing weren’t sitting with them.
