Li Xingle threw the shirt he had just taken off at her feet, "Turn around! Am I that scary?"
"The scenery outside is much prettier than you." She refused to turn around.
But the night-time window reflected his figure.
Li Xingle’s skin was unexpectedly fair, and his build was rather slim, yet he still had plenty of muscle.
Just thinking about how she had once been intimate with this body, without her knowledge or any feeling at all, filled her with resentment and hatred.
"I have a bad temper. When I tell you to turn around, you turn around. Do you want me to throw you out on the road?"
"Sure! I wish you’d throw me out." Then, she could take a cab back herself.
"Little Li, I’ll grant your wish, but not here!" Li Xingle leaned lazily and opened the car window.
The chilly early autumn wind blew in, dispersing much of the alcohol smell.
Li Buyan stayed pressed against the window, keeping her distance from him.
She hadn’t been drinking but was splashed with wine by Li Xingle, and the car was filled with the scent of alcohol, making her feel somewhat intoxicated.
She felt dazed, and the car suddenly stopped.
Her body lurched forward then back, heavily hitting the seat back, her hazy eyes staring straight at him.
Li Xingle was stunned by the momentary blurry look in her eyes; he had never seen such beautiful and lively eyes before.
"Get out of the car!"
"We’re not there yet..." Li Buyan weakly said.
"Didn’t you say you wanted me to throw you out on the road? What’s the matter?" Li Xingle’s mouth curved into a sinister smile, "Regretting it now?"
"No way!" Li Buyan got out of the car in a huff.
After she got out, a gust of wind blew, and the car drove off.
Then, she was stunned.
Where was this place?
There wasn’t a single person around. She took out her phone, but there was no signal!
Li Buyan was momentarily dumbfounded, watching the taillights of Li Xingle’s departing car flash arrogantly, as if mocking her!
"Li Xingle! You bastard! This is too much!"
How could he do this, pulling her to such a place and leaving her here? Was he expecting her to walk back?
Li Xingle, with his eyes closed, lazily blinked at the thunder and lightning outside the car window. "What luck, it’s about to rain!"
"Boss, should we go back to pick up Miss Li?" the assistant asked.
"Sure! You walk back and pick her up! Don’t be nosy!" Li Xingle closed his eyes again, ears occasionally catching the sound of thunder.
When he opened his eyes again, the car window was completely covered in water.
Through the blurred window, everywhere outside looked hazy.
With a little bag over her head, Li Buyan stubbornly walked on; as long as she could reach someone’s house, it would be fine.
She could endure this.
She could definitely endure this!
The rain grew heavier and heavier, and it seemed highly unlikely that there would be any houses nearby. Why wasn’t there even a boiler truck around?
Finally, she saw some bright lights. She immediately rushed out, "Stop, stop!"
The car stopped precisely in front of her, and she hurried to open the car door.
Seeing Li Xingle’s half-smiling, handsome face made her hesitate, her rain-blurred eyes wavering.
As she hesitated, Li Xingle had already pulled her into the car, stumbling as they went. She was soaked to the skin, filling the car with a hot and humid smell.
"Take off your clothes!" Li Xingle commanded, closing the door forcefully over her body.
"I don’t want to..." Li Buyan crossed her arms over her chest, trying to avoid him.
