"Why?" Theresa was not foolish; she sensed an undercurrent in Murphy’s words.
"You are not yet qualified to know, but you’ll understand once you become the Crown Prince."
Murphy did not linger after speaking, turning to leave.
Theresa slumped back into her chair in defeat, Murphy’s words echoing in her mind, filling her with countless doubts.

Suddenly, she thought of her own father. She remembered the father of her childhood, who, though only a Prince at the time, had been spirited and radiant like the blazing sun, his laughter robust and hearty.

Finally refusing her classmates’ enthusiasm, Lin Fu dared not go to the cafeteria for food, but instead went with her squadron to the commercial street within the school, casually choosing a restaurant. They ordered a private room and the eleven of them ordered a table full of dishes.

The Light Computer suddenly lit up, displaying Fu Tian’s name.
Lin Fu stepped out of the private room to find a quiet spot and pressed the call button.
"Big sister, impressive!" Fu Tian’s image appeared, giving Lin Fu a big thumbs up with a hearty voice, "Big sister, you really stand out. I’ve been hearing all about you in the military; you’ve made such a big splash I’m almost jealous."
Lin Fu was speechless, "Keep that envy to yourself, do you want it?"
"I do! My biggest regret is not being more rebellious during my schooling," Fu Tian shared with the tone of someone who had been through it all, "Big sis, let me tell you, you can get away with a lot in school, but it’s different in the military. Every rule and regulation is strict; orders are absolute, with no room for sentimentality."
"So, you’re not used to it?"
"Not really, I am a qualified soldier after all," Fu Tian slapped his head, "Oh right, I wanted to tell you to come home for dinner tonight, we’re having a family gathering."
He added with a playful squeeze of his eyes, "The tyrant’s back home, and all members must return, don’t forget. Remember, it’s a rule of the Fu Family, and those who are late will suffer a dreadful fate."
"The tyrant is back? Who?" Lin Fu instinctively thought it was an elder from the Fu Family’s fief who had come.
"Who else but my big brother? Who else could orchestrate such a grand affair requiring everyone to come back for a family gathering as soon as he returns from abroad?" Fu Tian wore a look of grievance, "It’s ostensibly a family gathering to foster relationships, but I see it as nothing short of torture."
"Ah? Fu Xing... he’s back?" Lin Fu’s heart raced, "How did he come back so soon? Wasn’t it said that he might not return for a year or more?"
