I can’t do it anymore!
Lin Fu was instantly overpowered. There wasn’t a single thought of divorce left in her mind. The decision she had made earlier was now thrown out of her mind. Her heart raced, her legs went weak, and she leaned powerlessly into his embrace.
She tried to struggle for one last time, "But..."
"But what?" he whispered softly, "Don’t you want it?"
Lin Fu shamefully nodded but then realized what she had done and wished she could crawl into a hole.
She quickly realized she had been seduced and glared at him indignantly, "You’re cheating."
"Heh!" Fu Xing chuckled softly, holding her tight in his arms, "How am I cheating? It’s clearly you who has the weak will, seduced by beauty."
After saying that, he declared in an utterly domineering tone, "From now on, you’re not allowed to look at any man with that look, only me."
"Are women off-limits too?" she asked daringly.
"Of course not," Fu Xing said irritably: "Whatever you want, I can satisfy. Just having me is enough. And, keep your distance from that kid Mervin, got it?"
"Of course not." Fu Xing would never admit to being jealous. He scoffed, "A mere brat isn’t worth making me jealous." But in truth, he had been close to exploding when he heard Little round ball’s words.
"Then you’re not allowed to mock me anymore."
"I haven’t been mocking you."
"You just did." Lin Fu bit him in frustration, yet Fu Xing didn’t get angry. Instead, his breath hitched, and his gaze on her was as if he wanted to devour her whole, even the arms that held her tightened unconsciously, as if wanting to meld her into his body.
Lin Fu was held so tightly she could barely breathe.
"Fu Xing..." she murmured restlessly.
Fu Xing kissed her lips again, this time more wildly. The cramped space of the flying car was filled with the sounds of blush-inducing kisses and heavy breathing.
Lin Fu struggled hard and finally Fu Xing let go. By then, her clothes were in disarray.
The flying car had already landed in the courtyard.
The home she hadn’t returned to for months was brightly lit. The housekeeper robot stood outside the flying car, its round eyes blinking with curiosity, seemingly wondering why its owner hadn’t appeared.
In the end, Fu Xing carried Lin Fu off the flying car.
No matter how she refused and tried to prove she could walk, the moment she stood up, her legs gave out uselessly, and she fell back into his arms.
Far from proving herself, she only invited Fu Xing’s low chuckle.
Lin Fu had never been so embarrassed in her two lifetimes combined.
"Okay!" Fu Xing replied amicably.
"But you’re still laughing."
"But your eyes are laughing, don’t think I didn’t notice," Lin Fu pointed out, annoyed.
"I’m not one to laugh," Fu Xing replied instinctively, then he froze.
He truly wasn’t one to laugh often. He had been mocked by his father since he was little for not resembling him, being instead like a stern adult, and whenever his father mocked him, his grandfather would enforce family discipline and seriously beat his father.
In his grandfather’s words, how had the Fu Family produced such an anomaly.
A precious grandson was what a Fu Family heir should look like.
Afterwards, when his father passed away, he smiled even less.
But ever since Lin Fu appeared, he had unknowingly changed in front of her, something he had never even realized before.
