That full moon-like halo shimmered like an actual bright moon, emitting a cold, water-like radiance that, when it shone on the ground, dyed the earth a mysterious purple.
And it was so domineering, not allowing any other color where the purple reigned.

Venus’s face registered shock, disbelievingly staring at the ion cannon in her hands, unable to fathom that anything could stop an ion cannon’s blast—not a Mecha, and certainly not a Starship.
How had it been blocked?
Lin Fu smiled, her heart filled with joy as she looked at the Purple Moon in her hands, "Now, let us fight together."
She launched an attack, and the dragging purple light beam was no longer a matter of ten or twenty meters, but enveloped the entire arena; Venus had nowhere to hide, unable to distance herself enough to make use of her superior long-range attacks.
There was no distance.
Or rather, in front of absolute power, any distance would be flattened.
Venus’s most skilled firearm offense became ineffective.
Watching Lin Fu step closer, Venus simply discarded her firearm; how would close combat fare? She’d still win, Lin Fu was but a newbie, no match for her own expertise.
Venus dared not delay any longer as fear began to take root in her heart.

Their combat was fast-paced, but the victor was determined almost in an instant.
Venus was sent flying fiercely by Lin Fu’s kick, catapulting dozens of meters before crashing heavily to the ground, rolling several more meters before coming to a halt.
"Cough cough..." Venus spat out a mouthful of blood, her fear reaching a climax.
She knew she was defeated.
She simply couldn’t best Lin Fu, as she’d said, in hand-to-hand combat she was no match. Now that Lin Fu had the means to counter long-range attacks, she was unbeatable.
She intended to concede, the smarter move being to avoid further embarrassment through stubbornness. But she couldn’t utter the words and was only able to gasp a single syllable before being brutally sent flying once more.
