"Hello, Uncle," Lin Fu greeted Fu Xing with easy grace as she walked over to his side, affectionately hooking his arm. She beamed and said, "Uncle is actually the first family member that Fu Xing has formally introduced to me! I didn’t know anyone from the fief before."
Fu Chao, seeing Lin Fu’s practiced movements, felt his heart almost leap out of his chest. Having watched Duke grow up, he was all too familiar with how aloof his nature was, his impeccable manners masking an indifference that kept others at arm’s length.
Even Fu Tian and Fu Yue wouldn’t dare get so close to Duke.
Had he not seen it with his own eyes, he would have never believed that Duke would allow anyone to hug and cuddle him as they pleased.
If word got out, it would surely drop jaws everywhere.
"Ha ha... I also feel honored. Lady, we all watched your competition yesterday; it was incredible." Fu Chao spared no praise, giving a thumbs up: "I’d say the Lady is the strongest, and I hope you can return to the fief soon so I can personally welcome you."
