The two sat in silence, not speaking until the food arrived and they absently finished their meal. As they were about to leave, Lin Fu suddenly grabbed Fu Xing’s hand.
"I have something to tell you."
Fu Xing sat back down, calmly looking at her. "Go on, what is it?"
Lin Fu glanced around cautiously, then stood up, walked over to Fu Xing, and squeezed next to him on the long sofa. She covered her mouth with her hand and whispered in his ear, "Fu Xing, if I told you that I’m the Princess of the Defunct Country, would you believe me? Would you laugh at me?"
Fu Xing couldn’t help but chuckle at her antics. After hearing her words, he covered his face in resignation, his voice low and pleasant. "Ah Foo, the Galaxy Empire has been around for nearly two thousand years. It’s very old. Before the Galaxy Empire, there was no legitimate royal authority, unless it was some small country."
"It’s not a small country."
"Then what is it?" Fu Xing pretended to arch an eyebrow in ignorance, subconsciously turning to Lin Fu, but unintentionally, his lips brushed against Lin Fu’s red lips.
Lin Fu was stunned for a moment, and by the time Fu Xing nonchalantly moved away, she came back to her senses and shyly punched him, whispering, "Be careful in public, did you hear me? I even held back from kissing you just now."
"So we don’t have to be careful at home?" Fu Xing’s suggestive tone made Lin Fu blanch.
She wouldn’t forget how dreadful the morning had been, her legs so weak she could barely stand, feeling as if she had been beaten numerous times. She suspected one day she might leave home because she couldn’t handle Fu Xing’s insatiable demands.
"That won’t do. This is my lawful right as your husband."
"Shut up!" Lin Fu feigned fierceness and waved her fist. "I’m trying to discuss something serious, and you suddenly stop listening? Listen carefully and let me finish."
This jerk had been so cold and serious all the way, why did his attitude suddenly change?
And now he’d learned to flirt with her.
He really picked up the worst things to learn.
Fu Xing’s eyes really had stars in them now, twinkling exceptionally charmingly. Ah Foo would probably never know how happy he was at that moment, how much he loved her, wanting to pamper her, wanting to give her everything.
