"Not at all," Nolan whispered. "What’s the deal with so many people suddenly gathering?"
"I’m not sure, but we’ll find out soon enough."
Lin Fu replied, her gaze sweeping across the circle with a smile. Qin Mo, Xia Huangyu, Su Ye, hmm? Who is this beauty?
Qin Mo noticed her gaze and smiled, "She is Lan Yin, also Lance’s sister."
"Not his brother?" Lin Fu was surprised.
She had always thought that the person Duke Stuart used to balance Lance would be another son, one with equal abilities to Lance. She hadn’t expected it to be a daughter, though of course, she didn’t mean to imply that women were inferior; in fact, Lan Yin was beautiful and had a very unique temperament.
Her features were at least 40 percent similar to Lance’s, and just by quietly sitting there, one could tell she was a person of quiet composure.
She had none of the arrogance typical of noble offspring.
"Not a brother. In any case, their family dynamics are complicated, but we don’t need to concern ourselves with that. All we need to know is that Lan Yin is now the representative of the Stuart family in this group."
Lin Fu sensed that either Lan Yin came from a very powerful background or she herself was immensely capable, and importantly, she was low-key.
"Hello, I’m Lin Fu." She extended her goodwill.
Lan Yin nodded, "I know you."
Qin Mo teased, "There aren’t many people who don’t know Lin Fu now, are there?"
"Which military academy are you from?" Lin Fu had assumed that the secret ace of the Royal Starship Academy would be from the Stuart family, but then she found out it was actually Xia Zeming’s own grandson. Given that, Lan Yin probably wasn’t from the Royal Starship Academy.
"The Seven Guardian Star Systems Military Academy Alliance."
Lin Fu suddenly realized. So she wasn’t on Capital Star but at a military academy within her own family’s star system. No wonder she hadn’t noticed her before; only someone like Qin Mo would have been able to find her.
"Alright, let’s get started!"
Su Ye began the day’s meeting topic with a smile, and everyone looked at him, ready to listen attentively.
Lin Fu silently nodded in approval, thinking that true top-tier nobles are exceptional in both personal cultivation and mental capacity. Each of them was a favored child of heaven, yet none had the arrogance that many would expect.

Nolan’s eyes widened in shock; he wasn’t a fool and naturally understood the underlying implications of the seemingly minor skirmish.
"Is it a falling out?"
"When the incident happened, the entire Capital Star was on edge, afraid that Joseph V couldn’t contain his anger and might take drastic action."
"But His Majesty did nothing."
"It’s not in line with an emperor’s style."
"Our emperor is no ordinary emperor," Xia Huangyu said, his lips curling into a cold, mocking sneer. "Under normal circumstances, the Elder Council would never commit such an act of disrespect. They wouldn’t dare to offend the dignity of the Royal Family, yet these things happened under Joseph V."
