“It’s my sister!” Lin Fu propped her head on her hand, her mind unconsciously sinking into past memories, feeling somewhat wistful for a moment.
Seeing her like this, Lin Qingfeng worried that the young Highness would go soft. Over the years, the Highness had shed her naive nature, but it was only towards Princess Evelyn that she repeatedly showed leniency, not knowing how much advantage Evelyn had taken of that.

Lin Fu rubbed her temples, feeling bewildered, while Fu Xing, sitting not far away, frowned slightly but did not interfere too much.
“What is it, Your Highness?”
“I find it incredible,” Lin Fu said in astonishment, “How could I have been so indulgent with Evelyn before?” She recalled her previous memories and realized she had indeed cared deeply for her sister, enduring her schemes, yet still accommodating her at every turn.
Just like now, as long as Evelyn wanted to meet her, she would drop everything and go to her immediately.
Lin Qingfeng resisted the urge to roll his eyes, “You finally understand, Your Highness.”
“Refuse her,” Lin Fu said decisively.
“Really?”
“Really.”
Lin Fu realized something; even though she had recovered her memories, some feelings had vanished, like the care and guilt-driven compunction she once had for her sister Evelyn.
The reason she had been so tolerant before was that Evelyn was her biological sister and because, during the coup ten years ago, it was to save her from the enemy’s hands that her father had died.
